So glad the audience here just sat back and let the vibe flow through them so that we could enjoy this masterful performance in its entirety without idiots whooping and hollering and obscuring parts of this intricate masterpiece that we wouldn't be able to hear. The same folk complaining about the crowd not being into it would be complaining about them interfering with their ability to hear the song without interference...
The Maze band should picked Jubu to sing for them instead of the former singer of Santana. I love his voice too. He can make his guitar talk, can sing and has stage presence...a triple threat! I'm loving this while I'm missing Frankie. Rest in Paradise.
First discovered this song on a random summer afternoon in 2012 or 13… I was early 20s riding down a steamy county road at sunset. It came on the radio and I was forever changed. I was mesmerized by how accurately and vividly the music captured the magic of a perfect southern sunset in Alabama. Nothing like feeling the breeze in the car on a back road in your hometown. I’ve since moved away but I’m transported home everytime I hear this song and I’m grateful for those who came before me who found a way to encapsulate the wonder of living and the mystique of home before I even was.
