Thank you, thank you. I am not surprised that I found this video today, but I am still in awe of how God works sometimes, lol. I've been struggling with rebuilding my life with Jesus again, more on my account of feeling disconnected from myself and thus the Holy Spirit. I have been asking the Lord to help me focus, focus my heart and my constantly racing mind so that I can then find our relationship. Today at church our pastor gave this same sermon, same verses; "I know my sheep by name/my sheep know me by my voice", and we will be starting a new series about this subject. As soon as I got home I knew this was my message because I googled "how to hear God's voice Bible study". previous to this video was one by Priscilla Shrier, and I played it while doing my chores; and yours followed immediately afterwards via autoplay and grabbed my attention. I've been feeling like I need to fast and pray for weeks, as well as position myself even when it feels impossible. I just wanted to say thank you for this message.

Love the music ministry this morning! Amen!!
Hi Pastor Jason. I appreciate very much the addition of music, as personally that is an important connection to worship for me, as I am sure it is for others too. I wonder if another option is broadcasting the full service over Facebook Live so that those watching online also feel a connection to people in the Em Wes church community and the actual service. #gressman7ministries
Yay!!!! Amen!!
good word
Thank you! I've been missing these!
good job
This..... I feel like on social media I'm angry and stressy..... because when I'm at work I am forced to be nice and pretend that everything is fine, when the reality of it is that work stresses me out the most because nothing Is ok at work. And social media is my outlet! Where I can actually tell people I'm over whelmed, stressed and angry 😭😭😭 I go to work and I'm CONSTANTLY over whelmed. My boss makes things so unbearable, the co workers aren't much better (minus one) and my job is constantly threatened no matter how much I do for that place. My last day is really soon...really soon..... and after that I'm moving to Florida! I'm a nature person, I need to feel the elements every day. It's my escape and working so many extra hours at work I feel like I'm just not getting enough sun in my life. I needed to hear this RIGHT NOW. I have to quit pretending I'm something because it's changing me for the worst
I am glad you needed to hear this right now. I believe people have been molded from their experiences and upbringing. That can be both really great and not so great. Social media has given people an opportunity to share whats on their heart and can be really great. In turn it has given people an opportunity to say things they would never say to someones face and also be rude and inappropriate. Mike Tyson said it best "Social media has allowed people to say what they would never say to someones face because they would get punched in the mouth." He is right! We need to find the place we are true to who we are. Being a christian doesn't mean we are a door mat and it doesn't mean we can say what we want in hurting people. But we are who he created and we can lovingly and with care be honest and articulate our feeling of joy, anger, need, hurt and frustration. I will pray that the Lord gives you what you need to endure with love, honesty and truth!
@@g7ministries247 yes! Please say that prayer cus lately I'm just not myself 😣 I would really appreciate it
@@christinaburkhart1410 try reading Eph 4:26 and Psalm 37:8. Honestly All of Psalm 37 may help. There is nothing wrong with the emotion. Its what we do with it that gets us in trouble. Praying!
Amen so very true
This is everything I need! It feels so personal 1 on 1! I don't feel like I'm at a church and stick out like it's obvious I feel out of place! This is the service I need!! Thank you for doing this!
