I had to make another Backpack for Victoria, because her itty-bitty-little-one did not have enough room for some goodies I want to give her. and beside that; she would have asked me why the big kids had a large gift with goodies in it. 1 Panel Decorated with Sewn in Signature

The cool thing about making this Shoji Screen is, that you can turn it into a French Door. You can add Acetate to make it see through, and perhaps make it into a House warming gift for "My first Place", and make a tag that reads; "Welcome to my Home", and put their before and After pictures in it? Skies the limit to your imagination. Happy Crafting!

Thank you Pamela. That is what I hope for every outcome, is that one Stay's fueled, or gain some inspiration, and ideas. I have so many time's stale/stuck from a design solution, and it take one inspired idea to get me going; and when I apply it, then the floodgates of ideas coming rushing in, and the only problem then, is not having written them down...So I am doing that now. That's why I have revisited earlier makes made a few years back, and bring them forward for those who are new to this who are limited in supplies, and want to jump in. Than you for supporting my channel by giving me a thumbs up. Hugs

This is just perfect!!!!!!!!!! And it's this time of year that you want to get those personalized Christmas gifts done!!!!!!! Or birthday gifts, etc., because in this day and age, people seem to have everything. These are the gifts that mean the most because of all your time you put into it but also it's personalized for each person. I have found dinosaur napkins and I'll be making one for my grandson!!!!!!!!! I used my glue stick with the napkins on cardstock and for the first time, I had NO PROBLEMS!!!!! I hate glue sticks, lol. But this is the one and only time that it really does work perfectly. Mod Podge is too wet and leaves wrinkles in the napkin. Once it's sealed with something, we won't have to worry about that napkin lifting at all. I won't seal it with the Mod Podge because that can get sticky......but maybe I'll try whatever it is you are using. I'll wait for you to do it first though, lol, JUST IN CASE it causes that napkin to wrinkle. I'm so afraid of that after all the hard work. Okay, shutting up now but you did another great job and you literally made the whole thing in front of us so it's no wonder that it's two hours. But it goes to show you can get this project done in a morning or afternoon and have your giftie ready to go!!!!!!! Thank you again!!!!! xoxoxo

I just can wait to see your Project... I anticipate your makes, because you just add that special touch. That's why I started the Group so that other's can see the variations of other crafty inventions, and be inspired...although, it can be dangerous, because we'll want to go on a shopping spree. Toe Toe Kitty Cat, has an Obsession with Dinosaurs... All thing's animals, and just recently of late, my daughter said she's into Barbies... which... I will have to see-it-to-believe-it, and that will be soon. When I use the Liquitex Matt Medium, it does not leave your projects sticky like Mod Podge does, but I guess with any substrates like that, we have to era on the side of caution when applying the napkins. I usually go 2 inches at a time when applying the napkins so that there are no wrinkling, but even then, it is still like the rolling-of-the-dice, a crap shoot. For me, I have to turn off my overhead fan, and make sure not to breath...lol. On a positive note, it is not thick like Mod Podge. I think it is better than the Ranger multi medium, it drys to quickly, and you can't leave it exposed to air for very long, before it want to gum up. You are hilarious, "you'll wait for me to do it first" LOL. Stay tuned for the next video, its not going to take that long...LOL but it goes along with the recent makes. As always my friend, you are a HOOT, that make me Hauler with Laughter. (( HUGS ))

This is great! I think this will be perfect for something I have coming up where I'll add a special nerdy twist on to it. Have you considered setting up an Amazon affiliate account? I am very new to crafting and many of the tools you use I do not know what they are. If you had an affiliate account you could post a link in the description to a list on amazon that had all the tools you use or recommend on it. Then newbies like myself could know exactly what you used (or something comparable) and I believe you would even make a little bit of $$$ of of each item purchased using that link.

@@craftsewcute5092 I think breaking it up into two videos is a good idea. Quicker and easier. I'll be looking for it!!! I'm thinking I may actually make my own paper for the Bento box purse, with fairies, flowers, etc. to go in the box for my sister in law. I'm just pondering how to go about it but I think I'll cut out the template and THEN decorate it and assemble it. It will be card stock with water color paper glued on top of it so I'm just afraid it will be too thick. But I'm going to do a prototype and see how that goes. If it doesn't work, I will make it with my decorative paper and keep it for myself, so it's a win/win, lol. Okay, I'll see you on your next video!!!!!!!!

That definitely made doing the smaller box easier!! I think when you get the bottom of the bigger box glued, it will fit just fine because mine did the same thing. I thought I had made a mistake but once it was all glued, it was perfectly lined up. Thank you for clarifying!!!

ANYWAY, I just love that bento box purse and I will be making it when I get back up to NY. Beautiful job and I can see where if you just take a piece of heavier cardboard, put a slit in it and glue it under the flap, it will hold that closed and it wouldn't be hard at all. Thanks for having my back friend! I wrote those measurements in the description box below. Idea! Do you have wrapping paper for a little girl? Paste it to card stock. How are you doing? Your Son? OMG, when I had gone through three knee surgery's...OuuuuCH! 2 on the R-Knee, 1 on the L. Now I have to have 2 knee replacements, both done at the same time... I know... I know... Yes, because having one done, the other will not support the weight baring, and they get you up and walking as soon as the anesthesia wares off. I should have had them done 4 years ago, but after having lost my Mother and younger brother within 2 months of each other, after convincing the to move here to Georgia... I went into a major depressed mode... almost having lost my oldest daughter from Severe Domestic Violence, that caused her blindness, that Surgeons said; that she will be permanently blind.... God said NO! Her eyesight was fully restored. Yikes, why did I go there... Oh yes, I am afraid to have surgery. @@craftsewcute5092 Oh my gosh Julie, you have been through so much!!!!! I knew you had had something quite traumatizing happen but I never would have asked. I am SO sorry about your Mom, your little brother and your daughter. Thank God that her eyesight is fully restored. Miracles DO happen every day and that surely was a miracle. I get what you are saying about pain. Once you have experienced real pain, you become almost paranoid and everything seems so much worse. Pain leaves hidden scars and it traumatizes you so that you are paranoid of it. Only someone who has experienced it, to a massive degree, can understand that. I get it because of my back and those open, raw nerves. When they go off, I can't even talk because it takes so much concentration to deal with the pain. So, yes, I completely understand what you're saying. My son is doing okay and we are just waiting for his next appointment with his surgeon to know if everything worked or not. But of course, I worry every second about him. And my daughter was born an old soul with a heart that is bigger than she is. My story is very close to yours, being a single parent and trying to do it on my own. The struggle is real!!!!! Everyday I am more Grateful for what God has done in my life since that Day... 1976, I watched Jesus Of Nazareth. When HE was flogged, and had to walk with wounds wide open, carrying the cross, that's as far as I could take it... ran to my room, folded myself up underneath my mother's Singer Sewing Machine, and CRIED...WHY...IT SHOULD BE ME, NOT YOU! I had something happen to me, as an adult in a very bad place, where I believe Jesus was actually there for me. I couldn't look upon Him, for the light around Him was so bright, I couldn't have taken it. The calm, the love, and the peace that I was left with has NEVER left my mind. When I close my eyes, I can actually feel it like it is happening all over and it has comforted me in the worst of times. It was like His gift to me to have forever. I am not a practicing Catholic but was raised one. I have so many faults. But my faith is strong and that proved to me that He loves me, just as I am, flaws and all, and will be there for me whenever I need Him. However, I felt His love for me and I was far worse then than I am now so I am a work in progress. I respect everyone's beliefs and what they feel is right for THEM. In fact, I'm currently working on a Wicca junk journal and storage box for my sister in law. Much of what I'm reading about that is the love of nature and all the bounty that is out there to sustain us, heal us and just enjoy because of its beauty. I can't find fault in that. Hello you mighty gnat hunter, lol. I had so much trouble keeping track of those little pieces!! And I realized in the middle of it that I didn't have any black paper so I colored my hair pieces with a permanent black marker and you couldn't tell the difference. in our place in NY, we have 23 acres but have someone get the hay twice a year in the back so we just need to keep around the house and down the driveway done. But it is STILL too much for us now. I will make the origami with napkins as soon as I get back to NY because I don't have my napkins down here. But I love the idea and think it's very clever!!!!!!! Plus, the feel of it would be more like material. And the Samari is NOT going to be happy to discover she's speed dating, lol. But she's independent and a free spirit so that samari is just going to have to get over it!!!! Baby got back, LOL!!!!!!!!!

Wow Treasure, 23 acres... it must be sooo beautiful? Open pastures. I would love to have our property totally open but have our Trees encapsulate us as a natural Fence line, but also keep our trail area heavily would so that the deer stay bedded there next to our river frontage. Hubby supplies them with a corn feeder, salt blocks, and a corn block for them and all the other animals to eat from. We were blessed with a huge RV trailer that hubby wants to put there near the river so we can stay in it to listen to the river. Our private vacation spot... but the only thing I worry about is a tree limb falling on it. He's going to build a fire pit with a horse shoe seating area around it, so when we have company during the fall and winter we can cook out there and have bonfires there. It is an older model, but it is fully equipped. The side walls extend out making it more spacious. It has a queen bed in it, and other bed foldouts. We're, oops, he, he is doing a cleaning overhaul to it. I have difficulty stepping up into it, but he said he will make a ramp for me to get inside. I am so happy that your making Origami's. Trace, make them and sell them. I am going to do a process video to turn them into Pens.... so stay tuned for that. Sell them as a pair of Flat Pens? Blessings to you and Yours... I can't thank you enough for your friendship. I still think we're doppelgangers. Our nature and life experiences are nearly a reflection of each other.

Anyway, I can see these put on two Dollar Tree frames that have been painted and a different background put on it. Wouldn't they be just beautiful hanging over an Asian style dresser or something? It is a marvel and all of your ideas and the way it is put together is unique and a gift that anyone would be so proud to give or gift themselves. Julie, it just crushes my heart that you are considering leaving. I look so forward to your videos. I mentioned not getting notifications for the last video because I probably am not the only one. UA-cam is massive and the shear number of videos out there just blows my mind to think about. But if you have ever noticed on other channels, a person can have thousands of subscribers and only a small percentage of people comment. For myself, I didn't comment (on other videos) for a long time because I had to log in and I had forgotten the password. For many people, it's as simple as not being logged in so they just watch the video and leave. You have a wonderful personality, you are real and you show unique and beautiful ideas so others can create the same beauty that you do. You make me smile, in every video you make. I would hate to think I won't see any more of your videos. You have SO much talent and your true gift are those gorgeous journals. That is why I watched and stayed ... I wanted to see how you created that corset spine and all the other things I saw in your work. I think you are just lost in this enormous world that is youtube. Thank you for so many great ideas, for the gorgeous ephemera that you sent out to so many, at your own expense and hard work, and thank you for giving me several hours of real enjoyment, watching your videos. Tracy, thank you for your lovely comments. I appreciate you. I see that I have views on my channel, and having to constantly as for the thumbs up if they like my content only takes a second to click on it. Apparently it is a communicator for UA-cam to take notice to promote my channel in the Recommended section. Not having the clicks on there just tells me that my content is not that great. Perhaps to lengthy? I don't know? What I will do is finish up my Oriental, and Springtime Journal so you can see how I do the Corset Process. Did you get my email? I sent you some extra goodies. I just finished a 1 page instruction process of the measurements on how to make an Origami Oriental Doll. Maybe some brads in those holes with ribbon braided in between each brad? It's hard to explain, lol Nothing I could come up with would be as good as what you decide to do, I know that. As for that acetate, maybe just a thin line of double sided tape on the bottom of that acetate with a thin line of glue along the top of it so that whatever you put in it doesn't touch the double sided tape and get stuck? It would dry and block stuff from touching the tape. But I'm sure the double sided tape would hold that acetate without coming apart. I'd make a little prototype first though 😀 I'd try it myself but I don't have my craft supplies with me here. Thanks for the chuckle and I can't wait to see what you do with it!!! I will be doing a short video soon as a reminder of the 50th subscribership Giveaway package entails. What I have been doing is, trying to write out the list of names who have subscribed cutting it off to the first 50, but my list does not match the subscribers count, and I don't want to leave anyone out. Also, I've been trying to figure out how to link the free digitals that I want to post in the description box below my videos... My personal IT hubby was stumped trying to help me. I have been looking in UTube for a tutorial, but it is for uploading to Etsy. I could do Etsy, but I have not created enough material to put them in my Etsy store. They charge a fee when you use that sight, and I don't have enough content that will be monetarily advantageous. Besides,I get greater joy giving a digital away that costs me nothing to give, and know that someone can use it right away to start making something beautiful with it. Legally speaking. Those paint sheets are intended to be samples and have no value to them. So unless they have a sign limiting how many you can take no court in the world would charge you for something that has no value. Having said that I cannot speak about the ethics of taking a lot of something that was intended to be a sample and using it for something that was not intended.

Thank you Tracy! Yes, Daily Affirmations is what a Devotional Journal is all about. Affirming what you want to stay focused on, affirming yourself with hopes and dreams, affirming the devotions to ones self, of who you are, encouraging yourself by building, and strengthening yourself. Out Heavenly Father's continually affirms in us; "that we are a New Creation in Christ, that old things have pass away; all things are New". Affirming us to not longer conform ourselves to what the world says we should conform too, But; "BE YE TRANSFORMED, by the RENEWING OF OUR MIND". That is Devotional, Affirmational. Our Father says, "So a man thinketh in his Heart; so IS he". He says "Think on whatever is true, whatever things are noble, just, pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things". Philippians 4:8 You are not alone when it comes to procrastination's and leaving so many things unfinished... That's why our father says, He will REDEEM that time lost; just simply ASK, Meditate on those things, He already KNOWS your desires... The giveaway package full of goodies will be great to us to embellish it. Hugs

You may not hear from me for a bit because I'm going down to visit my kids in Virginia (they are adults but of course, always our "kids" lol). I'm not sure how often I will be on here but I will try to check in because I am excited about the next step in this journal. You do inspire me <3 Until then.......

I can't wait to see the finished Devotional Journal!! I have the same paper pack and I loved the double sided, matching designs but was a bit lost on how to make the most of both sides. Your use of this is perfect!!! I will definitely be following along. I also want you to know that I have had debilitating anxiety most of my life (I am also 58) and I know from personal experience that handing these things to God (or whatever higher power you believe in) is sometimes the only way to get through it. Your words and your own experience may be the light that someone needs right now to guide them so thank you for sharing that. I have experienced many very difficult things in my life and it has left its scars and a lot of baggage. That baggage can get so very heavy. Handing it over to God to carry for a while is the most freeing thing a person can do. For those who don't believe in anything, releasing your troubles to the universe and envisioning yourself in a better place, several times a day, can have a very positive impact in your life. And of course, reach out for help from someone who understands your struggles and will be able to advise you on how to best deal with what is happening. I am very happy that you have found what you needed, at this moment and I pray that you will always find your way back to this place. You are a special person with great things to offer. Your videos and tutorials alone can be a distraction to a troubled mind and may serve to give a person a moment of peace in a very chaotic world. Again, thank you for everything. You really are a blessing. xoxox
