Jersey in the house! This is my first time watching 👀 🙂
wooo jersey girls!! love all of your color choices, especially the beanie!
It’s not a bonnet but kinda bonnet like - Roomy Balaclava - free pattern on Ravelry can accommodate any hairstyle and looks good hanging as a cowl when you don’t want your head covered. Really enjoy your calm tone of voice.
Did you knit the jumper you are wearing? If so what's the pattern?
@@nualasellwood5499 no i did not. it was thrifted. i have yet to make myself a pullover. i plan to focus more on garments for myself in 2025!
That hipster hat is the cutest hat I have ever seen!
@@menaramm6417 thanks so much! :))
How do you get such beautiful jogless stripes!?
@@alisakhan1252 hi! summer lee designs here on youtube has a great short tutorial on how to avoid jogs when knitting stripes. i’ve been implementing that technique since i found out about it :)
the way you aligned the stripes on the beanie is genius!
@@sarahstop thank you!! 😀
you’re adorable, I love watching these videos!!! everything you made is stunning!
@@eliznuts this means so much bc i love your videos so much! i found you a few months back and binged all of them in one day. ever since then, i have not missed one. thank you! :)
You carry so beautifully! Wishing you a safe delivery and love all the new makes! You pick the best color combos!
@@marithecreative thank you! thank you! 🙏🏾
Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy and your delivery. You are a beautiful knitter. 🧶😊
@@stephaniewilliams8687 thanks so much ^_^ i can’t wait to give birth!

@@smartlymade thank you v much :)
Soooooo many of my coworkers are having babies this spring/summer, so I'm taking notes on your baby knits :)
Thank you! Happy to provide inspiration for your baby knits!
I love your tattoo style of duplicate stitch on your Champagne Cardi!
Thank you!!
Wow! This is my first video of yours and I absolutely love everything! You’re an incredible knitter!
Ah! So happy you enjoyed. Thank you!
Niece love your work absolutely beautiful. Girl make me a cardigan. Thanks . Love you
Hi Auntie, yes! And I would love a dress or two! Love you too
The halibut looks soooo cool! With just the yoke, it looks like a really cool shrug/ scarf situation lol. Also all the baby knits are adorable 🫶
Thanks Mili! ^_^
Your stitches look so smooth. Great job!!
Thank you!
Love those little jumpers for your kids. Adorable!
thank you!
How did I know you were going to say socks for your Rhinebeck project - totally your go-to! Beautiful colour combinations 😍
Thank you! :) I appreciate you.
Love the stuff you made for your kids!I agree with leaving more space on your champagne cardi; It gives a more handcrafted, nostalgia, Bode vibe. What was the name of the button seller at Rhinebeck? Also Im here for the Philly love! Occasionally I get amazing yarn scores at Thunderbird Salvage
Hi thank you! Apologies for the very late reply. I don't remember the name of the seller. Unfortunately I never got her name. I should've!
The Champagne Cardigan with duplicate stitch looks totally amazing!!! I also think that with just the kinda random motifs its perfect!
thank you! i agree! i'll be picking out some motifs spreading them out a bit more :)
So inspired by the way you use colour in your baby knits ! Such wonderful combos and shapes too 🎉🎉
Goddess winner powerhouse queen of palettes - amazing everything ❤❤ I also got banana-color yarn to make socks from Rhinebeck ❤
Thank you so much!! :)
Thank you for sharing! Especially loved the monochromatic striped sweater and cozy socks! Great information & inspiration. :-)
Your color choices are beautiful. Wish I had more yarn options here in Japan. I have to find some online shops to buy from!
I’m obsesses with your color choices 😍🔥
As aaalwaaaays, love everything you make. I also loved seeing Rhinebeck thru your eyes in this podcast~ Maybe next year, I'll prioritize going + we can meet irl! 💛
hi! thank you! i'm so late but yes please come and let's meet! i would love that!
Can’t wait for Rhinebeck 2025!
Same!
There’s a video from Roxanne Richardson on her UA-cam about alternative cast ons for tubular/italian cast on!! I use the crochet cast on method from that video when I’m doing anything other than a double knit button band, because any tubular/italian cast on longer than that and I’m toast lol

That cardigan looks EXPENSIVE in the best way. Wow wow wow. You are so talented
thank you! :) which one are you referring to?
26:12 the adult cardigan (although all of your knits are gorgeous)
I love all of your makes! Plus your daughter is so cute! Seeing this part of your life makes my heart swell 😊 I love all of the tiny sweaters you made! Plus the homemade tag idea is soooo precious

@@hanaanbonet I knowwwwww! So much has changed! So happy for you 🥹 🥰
Just found your channel today and I’m obsessed! You are so creative and I’ve never gotten SO much inspiration from a creator before. Can’t wait to see your finished cardigan and other things you knit in the future!
@@delaneybaldovinos aw thank you thank you! this is such an amazing compliment! im happy that you’re enjoying my content so far 😃
I really like your rings(: May I ask where you got them?
@@liviasknittingpodcast thank you! one of them is from cashmere cactus and the rest were found second hand :)
Love the way the duplicate stitch looks on the champagne Cardigan! Really reminds me of patchwork tattoos! Now I am inspired to do something like that in the future too (:
@@liviasknittingpodcast thank you! please do! it’s such a fun way to add something to extra to a project
Hi Hanaan! I also can't stand doing a normal tubular cast on. I learned how to do a provisional tubular cast on from Yuha Knitting's Icelandic Sweater tutorial! She does it in the round in that video, but you can also do it flat. Essentially you just cast on half the number of stitches you need on waste yarn, work 3 rows of stockinette stitch, and then you create the ribbing by picking up loops under the waste yarn to work into. It might take a little longer, but I think it's much easier than fiddling around with the regular way, especially on a circular needle. Your knits are so cute!! Love the fish sweater especially 😊
thank you for sharing! i looked it up and it looks doable 😅 great resource!
love your color choices for all of your knits!!!! sooooo cute. the blue in the socks is so beautiful:)
thank you so much!
Hanaan, great video! Love your knits, and as a Pisces, gotta say, I adore your fishy sweater for your daughter! But I really like your duplicate stitching. Well done…! As for your difficulty with tubular cast ons, my “go-to” people for tutorials on UA-cam are Roxanne Richardson, and Stacy of Very Pink Knits. They are both great! Take care! ❤
So inspired by all your red and white projects! ❤
makes me happy tor read this. i love red + white so much!
Omg, the fish sweater and the little striped cardi are so adorable 😍
@@karinnorvell1965 thank you! it’s one my of favorite things i’ve made to date!
can you share how you did the duplicate fish design? i want to replicate it. its so cute 🩷
omg the fishies that’s so cute
Ok I love love this podcast. You're so talented with duplicate stitch; I'm inspired to try some duplicate stitch on some plain stockinette stitch too ❤. And your daughter is so lucky 😊
👍🧶🤗🍂🍁🧶😃
Loove ! What type of increases do you do on your raglans? Almost looks raised and I love the hole free look of them<3
Referring to the increases on your children's cardigan and sweater:)
the only raglan i know how to do rn! m1r before the marker, slip marker, knit the raglan stitch, slip marker, m1l
Are you left handed? Knitting for lefty’s has a great tutorial, I am left handed and can’t cast on with right handed instructions.
hey hey! love the hokkaido color! here is a video i used for the cast on ( i remember the first time watching a ton of videos, and then it clicked) ua-cam.com/video/RbElPT1bCg8/v-deo.html&pp=ygUPdHVidWxhciBjYXN0IG9u (andrea always delivers for me)
everything is soooo good
@@Kayla-hw6ys thank you! 🙏🏾
Ahhh I love all of these! Knitting is such a sentimental craft for me as well, I just love creating for my kiddos and loved ones. And that sardine sweater 😍 I'm so inspired!
i love this! knitting for my baby has been the most rewarding thing 😊
Everything you made for your daughter is beautiful! Do you find them difficult to clean? That’s what’s stopping me from really getting started on making things for my kids.
@@adriannamakes thank you! i haven’t had to clean any of them yet. lots of moms make things for their children with superwash wool so that they can just throw it into the washing machine almost like normal laundry. i didn’t use superwash bc i don’t like the feeling of it so i’m just going to have to spot clean and hand wash. more work but i don’t mind
I also prefer working with non-superwash which is why I’m hesitant 🙈
@adriannamakes I've been making my kids and friends kids woolly knits for over 20 years now. My approach to it is, if you do have time to hand-wash then go for it. I also make superwash and acrylic for friends who ask for it. I don't want them to feel left out just for not having time to handwash.
@@nicoswanmakes thanks! Sounds like lots of handwashing is in my future!
Your knits are lovely. For the tubular cast-on have you tried the method that starts with waste yarn? I find that this stabilizes the stitches but you will need to cut out the waste yarn in order to see the edge properly.
thank you! i have to look into it. i'm excited to try it out :)
