On time arrival of the Northbound Vermonter and on time departure of the Southbound Vermonter on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Springfield's Amtraks Station.

Two early Sunday afternoon CSX trains passing through Amtrak's Springfield Station. First train was a westbound with 8 CSX engines and 2 MBTA engines in tow with 100 autoracks from West Brookfield. The second was an eastbound at track speed. The HD camera used for this shoot was a newly purchased GOPRO Hero 2. Just experimenting.

After having an early afternoon lunch, the following activities were recorded for your viewing pleasure: NEC move across the CSX diamond to the interchange track in the Palmer Yard, Q436 east bound onto the passing track #2 while Amtrak Lake Shore waited patiently on Track #1, Westbound Amtrak Lake Shore to Albany and eventually to Chicago, and finally the southbound Vermonter making its switch...
