@@justinhackstadt6677 this is a new category in the Castlevania 2 SRC community. It's called Blitz%. It starts with a password to give you everything. The challenge is to see how fast you can get from the starting town of Jova all the way to Drac's castle. It's quite fun

My buddy David hates doing lizard grind. So he came up with a route that allows him to do all the Any% tricks and still avoid lizards. It is unclear whether this route will be faster than the chain whip route, but it's not far off

@@mooboy2000 also, as easy as that kill looks, it is extremely difficult to pull off. They are two frame perfect throws and you have a very specific pixel you need to stand on to even stand a chance. It is a very tough set of inputs

Yeah man, absolutely. We have so much time to save. If I can get one run where hearts and execution come together, a 37:xx time isn't out of the question

@@Opry99er that grind for hearts is ruthless. I watched Freelands live stream the other day and hearts cost him quality runs all night.

It's called a quick death. If you want to die quickly, you can get in the swamp, duck down, and take damage. First hit will kill you, regardless of your health bar. On this run, I needed to take a death there because I couldn't make it to the other side of the swamp on what health I had left. That intentional quick death saved me a ton of time.
