How are using simple beta for base current despite of the fact that in saturation collector and base current aren't related.You have to use forced beta.
You're absolutely right! In saturation, the relationship between the collector current (Ic) and base current (Ib) changes because the transistor is fully on and behaving more like a switch than a linear amplifier.
