The blasters are a bit on the expensive side, but I'm keeping an eye out for them too! There are limited edition /90 Yellow Foils in the Blasters which makes WAY more sense than Green to me within the story that is Wolverine.

Great question! So generally price fluctuations hit pretty hard from between the date of release and about a year after. Obviously things like overall rarity, desirability, and playability all play a factor in it's long term value. In general, most cards are valued highest upon set release so the values I shared in the video would be a snapshot in time. I would say the best measure of worth would be to check eBay sold prices especially because if you're going to be selling, chances are it's the biggest marketplace for the general public and the one most buyers and sellers would be on. The algorithms / the sold prices captured at PriceCharting doesn't crawl everything, and you're definitely right that it's more on the -ish side. I've typically used PriceCharting to get a good snap shot of the highest valued in the set to know what to look for in my pile of inserts, then compare against eBay Sold prices.

It's a really fun rip and WAY more affordable than Series 2. It's about half the price.

Ah that's unfortunate. I really wish there were a couple more fun cheap rips like UD Choice from back in the day. For now I just have to be "okay" with MVP.

Myself I go with o pee Chee only set I collect. Cheap fun rips and besides I still collect for the hobby...not for money.

Agreed. It's a fun concept... theoretically getting a whole BOX of cards inside your box of cards is absolutely hilarious... but it was just about $20 over the price I felt like it should have been.

These mega mystery boxes are occasionally available from Canadian Wal-Marts, but I picked mine up from an eBay auction. Word of warning though, the box can be easily searched and weighed without physically opening it since the box is fairly thin and you can kind of push in the walls and flaps to take a peek inside.

Oh they are definitely one of my favorite modern day sets, too bad getting blasters are impossible to find right now. I'd have to get a hobby box, but I'm not sure I like the set to drop $300.

PMGs and Jambalaya's are amazing but the boxes that contain those AND buying them loose are out of my range. Another one I had considered were the KITH promotional cards but I just couldn't get my hands on those either! I'm not entirely sure that they would appreciate in value, but if you're looking for something that can retain value / be an amazing addition to your collection I would definitely check those out!

I think I got real lucky with this box! Three of the holograms are too damaged to be graded, but I am so happy with being able to relive a bit of nostalgia. Thanks for sharing!
