Woof, I didn't realize the Black Rock connection. Crazy. I wonder if they'll have a scheme where they sell "Pristine" Boxes and "Damaged" Boxes at different prices.

I've actually yet to see one sell as a single card. Not great for the hobby, but I DID see an Iron Man Wood go for $10. One would say Iron Man should go for more than a Kang, so I'd place the card maybe around the $4 mark?

I've never had the opportunity to buy a box. Would you recommend it?

Several years ago an interview where he repeatedly used derogatory names for a minority. I think it kinda came back into the headlines recently because of his appearance in a Netflix special. I grew up watching him, loved him, even watched Thunder in Paradise! He isn’t beyond redemption, but I do certainly hope that stars of his caliber could understand that they should help represent the best of humanity especially with such a multicultural and multiracial audience as you would in America.

Some recent (Past 3 months) PSA 10 moves in the series include Iron Man vs Mandarin for 925, Kang for 459, Daredevils Billy Club for 425, and Iron Man for 350. However, these prices could potentially be due to manipulation or a single collector trying to complete their set / enter the speculative market of low pop cards. More recent sales (December only) PSA 10 moves hover closer to the $50-$100 mark with Wolverine going for 49, Darkhawk for 100, and Spider-Man going for 185. The safest bet is to assume that the core franchise characters will always get top-billing and that you may only get $75 for a PSA 10. If you go in with lower expectations but happen to come out on top, it'll be a good strategy with Series 2. Obviously this isn't financial advice, and I would never suggest anyone invest in cards LOL, but that's the movement I've seen based on eBay sales.

@LotsToUnpack OK thanks yeah I been collecting, trading, investing and selling basketball, pokemon an baseball cards a while since 1996 but suddenly stopped at 2000 then got back in 2022 so never bought marvel trading cards even as a teen 13yrs in 1996 so something different

@LotsToUnpack I probably would just buy boxes to hold they will go up marvel movies, toys, comics, etc come out each year expanding it mostly to the multiverse especially after 2025 it will explode

It's really tough because I can't 100% be sure about the sources I used to get some of the information. And even the information I had found was fairly scarce about what counted as an insert or limited print card and what counted as base.

@@LotsToUnpack You're welcome. Been getting the Dollarama $3 packs recently. It's getting easier to pick out the ones that actually have official packs in them. Hit a bunch of 90's ProSet(looking for the stanley cup hologram), a bunch of 21-22 OPC retail, and a few 22-23 MVP hobby packs. No huge hits yet, but will keep trying. :)
