Absolutely fantastic. Belvoir is lucky to have such a fantastic Patron and amazing staff to help complete all the work required.
I just finished reading The Secret Rooms, and enjoyed watching this afterwards!
Wow golly gosh
Thank you for sharing these stories. I have had several encounters in my life too and totally understand the different positive/negative energy.
Lady Diana cooper spent her childhood here. She describes it in her biography , a fascinating read.
Fascinating! There are so many figures attached to that castle! It must be wonderful to love so close to that much history!
Hello cousin how are you today ur duchess and Paul roof man

I was born in America a pure blood i should of been Born in London England rip my great grandmother Queen 👑 Marry Alexandria Elizabeth Royals ll. Since we her cousin's was taken out of the British Royal tree bring us back in the British Royal Tree where we belong.
There’s no such thing as “pure blood” you’re just a eugenicist and racist.
Hello I'm James my first cousin is King Charles lll I'm a Blauw Bloed I'm a British Royal James Person supposed to be Prince James born Dec 13 1976
All those roofers, tractor drivers and farmers make up for a very exciting line up. A real joy expounded by arcadian living, exactly the kind of a crew to maintain the castle.
I thought I would be terrified to see, hear or feel a ghost (if I even believed they existed) until I lived in 2 houses which both had very different ghosts. When I had these experiences, it all felt very natural and normal. Not scary at all, although other people who visited were a bit freaked out by their experiences.
When I got married to my second husband I had not been able to meet his father who had past on a few years earlier. One Sunday we along with the rest of the family went to the cemetery to visit his grave. While my husband spoke with his family. I silently asked his father if he approved of our marriage to give me a sign. That night at my mother in law's home. Late after every one had gone to sleep. I was awoken with someone tickling my foot. I sat straight up in bed, glanced down at my husband who was sound asleep, snoring....and smiled. It was the sign I had asked for. I have had other things occur like a crystal and silver ashtray move across a table for no reason at all. And if I sense something in a room or the home I am moving into. I just say if you leave me and mine alone, we will leave you alone, which seems to work.....so far.......
Lot of cap doffers commenting.
Mrs Bouquet. Where’s Onslow?
Open it up to homeless people.
A wonderful snob.
You as well as everyone else knows there is no such thing as ghosts! You are lying through your teeth! The only reason you are saying all these lies is to bring lots of tourists so you can make a pile of money!
How about calling the electrician?
What a wonderful, open woman.
My aunt's beaver was haunted too
Show us ya Beaver lovey 🤪🤪🤪
Beaver
Do you really pronounce this like Beaver?
Your grace, UA-cam recommended your clip to me and I have to say I found it fascinating. As you said, Paul is a real character, but you are an absolute natural on the screen. Loved it.
I listened to the Podcast about the ghosts. There are a few unanswered mysteries. Who was the medieval man blocking Violet from going to the kitchen at age 9 ? Were the 2 children coming out of the closet, still playing hide and seek ? Did Oliva feel a connection to the person calling her name ? Is that a clue to her past life ? Fascinating storytelling : )
Il piccolo lord.
Idk why but i picture Mrs Browns boys..
That is one very beautiful castle, I really love the sausage idea. I have a political belief that if I eat enough sausage, I will become a super hero named sausage man, where I will get an expensive pay check in the style of a billion air.
My dream wallpaper
I can’t help loving this woman. I’m totally smitten. Would love to have afternoon g&t’s. She’s done well here.
really liked this ..poor duke and duchess (no irony) historically one of the things that everyone's ancestors keep neglecting is the roof! .. pauls story and their chatting was great wasn't it..he's definitely a trusted person who explained it all wonderfully ...could you maybe explore some sort of crowdfunding or liase with a local college to give roofing students the opportunity to work and learn it would be a good opportunity to give something back to your community under pauls aegis of course!
Hello everyone, just seen your video (after randomly looking for duchess of devonshire chickens..and seeing one of their rams joining the army as a mascot...)..really enjoyed the chat between the two of you Nick is lovely and authentic (but i'm wondering if the cattle are his real passion) the duchess questions were really good weren't they.. it was a gentle informative and easy watch which threw up other questions for me as i love sheep and my husbands father was a dairy farmer! the only thing i would say on a presentation note .. whoever is doing the lighting ..woeful..the duchess should be shown as an attractive alive pinky colour! (her own) anyway thank you for the video we really enjoyed it people have become so removed from the land this is exactly the sort of thing that should be piquing their interest best wishes mrs c
I love the stately house ! Beaver !
Stiff upper lip, carry on, remember Duchess, you put your panties on one leg at a time. La Dee Da
THE DUCHESS IS SUCH A WONDERFUL WOMAN!
Wonderful.❤
Anything for a few bucks aye duchess...lol..even sucking the mouth breathers in. WIth ghost bullshit
Why do ghosts only appear in old buildings that need loads of maintenance? I promise, if the place was rewired, there would be no more ghosts. Ghosts only appear to people who are ignorant of all the things that need repair around an old house. Ghosts are figments of the imagination only in the minds of those who are ignoramuses when it comes to the workings of plumbing, electrics, drying and shrinking wood, drafts, and basic physics. The only crazies at Belvoir Castle are superstitious humans who are brain broke and full of nonsense. P.S. WD40 will cure your squeaky doors and other basic mechanicals. We know far too much to believe in the nonsensical claims of ghosts.
They just want you to acknowledge you know they (the spirits) are there.
You really can’t blame the spirits for getting excited rolling into the Holidays!😊🎄🕊
We shall miss you on the Duchess Podcast but am loving this new channel. Looking forward to watching life at Belvoir.
Had the pleasure of enjoying the Belvoir sparkling at the castle last week. Went down very well. Deliciously light. ❤
Just mind-blowing. Amazing and fascinating at the same time.
I remember as an child when helping my aunt and cousin at the castle hearing strange noises in rooms that were completely empty.
Simply STUNNING! A great channel and vlog.
