They were mediocre in 1980 and they're even worse today. This band was built on total hype and bullshit, and I'm not afraid to say it. Who the fuck was listening to Judas Priest when you had Van Halen, Blizzard of Oz, Iron Maiden, Ronnie James Dio, Ted Nugent, AC/DC, Queen, and Yngwie Malmsteen all in their prime that were literally light years better? Losers. That's who. Geriatrics in leather still trying to pretend they're 25 should be illegal. Are you people really watching this low energy geriatric fest? They're about as exciting as watching water evaporate at room temperature. They had two bullshit bubblegum songs: Breaking the Law and Turbo Lover. Rob Halford isn't even that great of a singer compared to the groups I just mentioned, and yet people today put this average cabbage on a pedestal like he's some great singer. Any idiot can scream into a mic and that's all that Rob Halford proved. There's an old secret in the music industry. If you suck, compensate by making it extremely loud. The louder you are, the less people are prone to think you actually suck. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't blame Judas Priest for riding the bullshit train and beating that cash cow until its dead.

They lost their edge. It's just not like the old days. I'd rather hear Priest with "'Ripper'' at the mic and KK and Glen trading lead solos like it was meant to be. Rob is boring now.

It looks like Bruce's hip is acting up again (had a replacement in 2020). As you can see him sort of favoring one leg over the other as he first enters the stage for Caught Somewhere in Time. Also, the fact that he is now wearing those blue sneakers and not his official high black Future Past boots since September 7th, tells me he's looking for something with more comfort to perhaps ease the pain. Let's all hope that this doesn't turn into a bigger issue going forward, but something to take note of.
