I have recently tuned into the fact that my coworkers are hyped up on caffeine all day. working has been like being the one friend in the stoner circle who doesn't hit the pipe. It wears me out to deal with them when they do certain shit while hopped up, like forget to tell details about their work that I have to remember to ask for or completely fail to listen to what I am telling them as their attention is lost immediately when I respond to them So often asking questions I had just anticipated in advance and given the info for etc Widespread caffeine use in a workplace is a red flag IMO. Why is it that so many of the workers here use caffeine so often and what does it say about the effect that the work place will have on me the worker And ps not looking to judge individuals but drinking enough caffeine ought to be viewed as a type of inebriation. My coworkers, I'm dead certain, are way smarter than how they come off recently and I yearn to cooperate more effectively with them
