As title, first time down #leevalley with a playboat. This is a long form video where I critique some of my paddling style, which was poor including two swims. Learnt a lot from this experience.

Another example of amateur hour - so this was my first swim in (boat) and first time using my play boat at Lee Valley. Coming from a Scorch this is very different experience. My roll let me down, but looking at the footage I think (a) i rushed the roll and (b) I should have switched sides on the 2nd attempt. Everyday is a learning day

A fairly raw edit of my visit with my son Declan (young lad in the blue Jed) to Lee Valley on the way to collect my eldest from Stansted :) - it was a very quiet course with a handful of paddlers. It's been a while but went for a swim in this one.

A video from last year where I went for a swim at the Salmon steps on the Barle where i was rescued by Luke. In 2023, Luke seemed to have to rescue me on virtually every river trip :)

This one is a raw take, albeit a video in video (as i took 2 cameras). It runs till my memory ran out hence the circa 15 minutes. Having a camera pointed at you was pretty helpful at identifying where i'm going wrong - particularly my excessive leaning back, so now need to work on my neutral seat.
