Yo I was building my future online team, scrolling through UA-cam and ended up here, clicked for the fun... And dude i'm litteraly playing the exact same team its wild ahah, just some changes in skills but the gameplan based on heal and drums is the same, the choice of Beasties and their passive.. Sure i didn't used mine in PvP yet so maybe i'm wrong on certain choices but i do think those are pretty ok changes if i may : My core to wreck the oppo Beasties : - Hopra = Bring the Heat (don't like the Nervous of Supercommit but could be good to press oppo) - Drum - Team Chant - Hydrolm = Mindfield - Assess - Meditate (torn between Deep Breath). The idea of Mindfield is that it synergies perfectly with Hydrolms ability to setup his boosts and staying alive with allies healing capabilites. Mindfield becomes strong pretty fast if you Assess + Meditate once, which pressure the hell out of the oppo team, sometimes creating some hard 50/50 like killing both Beasties at the same time by aiming at the weakeast, making both unable to receive the serve lel. - Crabaret = Stomp - Juggle - Provoke (like Shield too but Crab is always angry lel, also tried Dive to synergize with the incoming Torch Passes but was too situational) My supports saviors : - Bongus = Set (tried Refresh but maybe lacked some attack power) - Drum - Torch pass - Froofulks = Bring the Heat - Calming Aura/Refresh (still torn lel) - Torch Pass Its really busted imho, even in PvE Torch Pass + Team Chant is just... insane and with the healing ability of the team you can stall really hard to keep your whole team alive while chipping the enemy team. I thought about throwing a Torch Pass away because actually when i snowball i don't need 2 "useless" slots but it helps having 2 and be able to switch in, hence why i chose Bongus for Yellow/Red defenses and Froofulks for Red/Blue defenses as my 2 supports ! Team is correct in all defenses, like you i specialized my Bongus in Yellow Defense because it was a bit lacking with Hydrolm and Froofulks being really bad at it. The only moment where things can get annoying is when i need to switch Hopra with Bongus, which makes my serve a Free Ball if i win a point. But i didn't find enough value giving him an attack besides Stomp, which makes him angry so no Torch Pass which is the main goal of Bongus, after setting Drums if needed. Anyway, sorry for the rent, i really loved theorycrafting and was so surprised that the first video i see about the game is litteraly the same comp i use ahah. This game is so cool so thats why i shared so much ahah, thanks for content !

Sorry I'm late to this. It seems like they could have brought in the bird to tank the serve, and then finish you with a sideways attack from the kitty if they have it, since you have to tag out the frog

It’s too bad your Hopra doesn’t have Team Chant. It would completely nullify all stacks of sweaty on your entire team with a single click. It’s kinda busted

Hello!! :D I don't recall eveything thing I was thinking because I was really really nervous during the match but some of my thoughts: 7:00 I cycloned bongus out because a few hours before the match I had to deal with a bongus that boosted the attack of a body hitter, so that scared me into removing bongus from the field as soon as possible 8:47 my deluja was made to give more moves especially with broslidon and bandicraft and eventually get drained and benched, although since you were hitting hard my broslidon, I was trying to get her drained and out of the field as sooon as possible so I wouldn't end on a 50/50 or a weak beastie on the bench (that didn't work) 10:10 your prediction was correct, I wasn't willing to tag out broslidon because I would rather let them get wiped and then healed 4 turns later 10:20 I was so scared......... 12:35 again, I was really intimidated by that bongus 13:20 with opposur I prefer dealing less damage if that means I'm gonna get the boosts without boosting a beastie with body/spirit attacks 16:33 "maybe I should have gone for turtle" you would have completely destabilize if you went the turtle besides all of that, I had a lot of fun playing against you!! I was nervous as hell but it still was a really great match to play, you played very well, gg!!! hope to see you next event :D

It seems weird to call it a Dive team when only a single member knows the move and it’s not even on the starting lineup. If you had started with Servace + Bandicraft the team would have worked as advertised without so much trouble for you Edit: why do you call them “digital” attacks? The “elements” are body (yellow fist), spirit (pink flaming heart), or mind (blue eye). Maybe it comes from another game? It’s super confusing to me 🤷🏽‍♂️

Defense actions are really strong, as it's pretty much a free action if you don't need to reposition. For example your starter has the ability to just heal during defense, which gives them a ton of sustain. Glad you liked the games Drew.

Hey I just wanted to say these matches have been a real pleasure to watch. I got BNO like a month ago and I´ve spent 40 hours replaying the story for sway cause I`m still too shy to go into the multiplayer, so I figured I would look up some youtubers who actually play PVP matches so I can get a good feeling of what it`s like before going in, and yours where the first to pop up and so far they have been really fun, so thanks for that.

cool team! i'm more a fan of balanced lise teams, but can't argue with stall's effectiveness. i do also enjoy this format, seeing how people think about teambuilding is fun. one suggestion: i think back pocket locket on tazu might be good? she often needs more than four firewalls to help win games, and it also means more decoys to throw out

Honestly hilarious me and KAZ tried to run Zael teams on the same day when nobody'd been running him as such for months.

seems sweet! i'd be tempted to run bypass claws on that erik, but all three of his moves really showed their value here, so it'd definitely be a conundrum.

Bulky Erik is actually a strong lise match up, wow. Cool team! The Keiban cap makes a lot of sense for that game plan, too.

finally, another vid where i get dumpstered, i DID realize after our second match that you probably filmed it lol, well played matches! the matches definitely helped me realize things about the team

i think your best shot in the turn you asked about versus cherry cap was to sac odette for the last battery pip. that way you keep lise around to parry fireworks the clint down, or at least threaten to. odette doesn't do a ton versus the rest of the team at that point, and keeping ferran healthy to tank seyla is important. it's still a long shot, mind you, just because that matchup is so abysmal for this build of the team. i would think your best shot taking it from the top is probably going for flourish handshake ASAP to take out cherry and relieve the hazard pressure, but even that is hardly guaranteed to work. cool video, cool team, thanks for the content!

cool to see someone else have this idea. i (this is gretchling btw) built clint cap stall awhile back with the same clint/molly/pema/lise core, but with originally ferran and now odette in jane's slot. movesets and spreads were also a bit different, obviously. definitely gonna incorporate some ideas from this team into that one!

POTENTIAL SPOILERS??? this was a very well played game! you can see with minimal's playstyle and team comps that he really understands how to play with tempo and batteries. it was an uphill battle but webbowser still played well considering that this was a pretty long day and minimal basically knew webbowser's sets. these two were the only ones i lost sets to, and i knew from the start that they'd definitely play very well in the tournament! hope to see more commentary in the future! you pull it off well :)
