I love Blokees! I got myself the Chapter 4 set, which has the likes of Shockwave, Tarn, Ultra Magnus, etc. They're such fun little figures, and they don't feel fragile like other model kits. The articulation is simple but effective, and they have a surprising amount of detail printed on them. Incredible little figures that make for wonderful desk toys. ^^ The ones you got here are great, aside from Sunstorm. Not a bad mould, but I never liked the look of that character. He's basically Starscream, but with way less color breakup than his Seeker bros and covered in cheese. Beachcomber looks like he's about to steal Sentinel's Thanos blade, because he has that Infinity Gauntlet hand. lol From what I know from the Image comics, Beachcomber loves nature, and I think he made friends with a bird in the G1 cartoon. It's also awesome that you got the shiny Optimus! The metallic paint goes great with the old toy design.

Hulk absolutely needs redemption. They took one of the most hardcore characters from Marvel and turned him into a joke. His five second cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine was better than anything with the character since Ragnarok, which is sad. If they can bring him back for a real role, more powerful and vicious than ever, then that would be amazing. I don’t get many live action Marvel figures, but this figure’s neat, even without the Harrison Ford likeness. I’m not sure how Brave new World will turn out, but hopefully Red Hulk will live up to his comic reputation. And yes, please have Hulk in it! Oh yes, as for the burning skin thing: Red Hulk can actually go on fire. I first saw him do that in the goated Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon. He also had a moustache as Ross, but lost it whenever he became Red Hulk. Oddly enough, the moustache would instantly come back when he reverted back to Ross. lol

I never read the IDW Transformers comics, but I’m damn well aware of how badass Tarn is. Such a cool villain. I was so happy that they made this figure, given how unique his design is. Unfortunately mine had a loose part of front pelvis armor, which didn’t fall off, but it rattled when posing the figure. This piece was also supposed to keep the hip joints sturdy, so mine has loose hips as a result. My only real issues with the figure itself is how the shoulder articulation is done (he can’t aim his double barrelled gun without looking awkward), and his profile is ridiculously flat. He’s supposed to be a big, hulking character, which makes me think that he should have been a Leader Class. Still, a fantastic figure with great sculpt, colors, and articulation. Also, apparently the 4-Pack Tarn is supposed to be based on his appearance in the Cyberverse cartoon, which is why he has those wacky rave colors. I haven’t watched the show, but I think he had blue eyes in it, as well as missing an arm. Multiple clones of him for some reason, too. By comparison, this figure of Tarn looks like the Joker got a hold of him or something. “Let’s put a smile on that face!”

SS86 Optimus is truly peak. It’s not perfect to be sure, but when people are comparing this to a nearly $500 Masterpiece, that being MP-44, then I think we have a real winner here.

I own the Sentinel Peter B. Parker, which is an amazing figure, but if I didn’t get it, would I have gotten this? Ehh… Maybe. Like you, I’m not too fond of these Spiderverse figures. If this Spidey had a different torso joint and maybe a slight wash to bring out the web details, then for sure, I would have gotten it!

Studio Series seriously needs to redo the Transformers One Optimus and Megatron. They’re not fully accurate (concept art), the colors are horrendous, and they’re too small. Deluxe Class is fitting for Orion and D-16, but these guys got hella tall with the cogs. I also like that Rise of the Beasts Optimus figure, but I hate the redesign (“What if we took the Bumblebee design and made it _not_ peak?” lol), and Optimus was kind of a douche in that film. Made me not want the otherwise great figure. I was really tempted to get the Nemesis variant, since Nemesis is cool and this variant is non-canon, but it was too pricey, and it’s now sold out or priced up. >_<

EVERYbody comments on the Hemsworth/Cullen voice comparison when I think Megatron's voice change was much more drastic

The idea of these Yolopark Transformers is awesome. I own the G1 Optimus and was very impressed with it. I'm sure I would be impressed by these One figures as well, but personally, I'm going to wait for the MDLX figures of One Optimus and One Megatron. From my experience, MDLX has so much quality to it. Nice feeling plastic, many accessories, and real heft. Still, these Yolopark ones are done very well, too! They make for great display pieces. Now, when it comes to One itself, it was peak. I love the 86 movie and have a soft spot for the first Bay film, but One may very well be the best. It pisses me the hell off that it under performed, likely do to all of the repetitive and nonsensical Bay films driving fans away over the years. The terrible marketing for this movie also played a big part, with that first trailer looking like a Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff. Horrid! Still, I read that someone who worked on One said that a sequel is still possible if enough Transformers fans show interest. Make it direct to Paramount +, I don't care. I just want to see actual good Transformers movies. 😩

I can’t speak for everyone, but I don’t mind when reviewers ramble. I mostly have reviews like this playing in the background while I play games, checking and rewinding ever so often. Besides, some of the stuff you say is honestly hilarious to hear, which makes the reviews both informative and fun. lol As for the figure, it’s neat. Not sure if I need this since the old MCU Deadpool is perfectly serviceable. Would very much enjoy a Deadpool and Moonjnight team up!

Great review, man. It would be cool to own a fully possible figure this big. Part of me wishes I got the Galactus, as that’s a similar size to this. I’m sure this Ant-Man looks awesome in a display with a bunch of Marvel Legends around it. ^^

Personally, this look for Moon Knight doesn't do anything for me. The gold is neat, but my favourite look for him is the black design with the white armor, which I hope shows up in the MCU someday. I would really like to get the Blackheart BaF, but the wave is so damn mid.

Great review, man! I absolutely love this figure. Easily the best Chug Optimus out there. He looks awesome with the other SS86 figures, but it is kind of true that he makes some other figures look like crap by comparison. lol That's how amazing this Optimus is. They finally nailed the Ion Blaster, as some other ones looked off or wonky. I'm one of the Transformers fans out there who loves seeing Optimus with an Energon Axe, but unfortunately the one mine came with is hella warped. Still looks great in certain poses, though. Technically this figure doesn't have a fully accurate head sculpt compared to the 86 movie, as that one is longer and blockier, but I've always been fond of the MP-10 head sculpt. Besides, I don't need these figures to look 100% accurate to inconsistent animation. As long as it nails the key aspects and is still fully recognisable as the character, then that works for me. When it comes to the front hip skirts, they are actually individually movable! They're just really tight and stick together for some reason, but they can move separately if one is held down. It can certainly be tricky to film transformations, yet this is one of the more intricate transformations out there and you did it really quickly. Hell, I don't even bother transforming most figures due to QC issues and bad instructions, but I too watch the goat Emgo when I need to transform a figure. I haven't done it with this Optimus yet because even though the truck is cool and compact, I don't want to scratch up the glossy paint on the face, considering how his head has to be shoved into the chest part with kibble practically against it. And yes, Transformers One is incredible. It must be watched!

I'm still annoyed to this day how Hasbro did that with the Fortnite licence. People can say what they want about Fortnite, but it has so many fun and creative character designs. I was really hoping they would make a figure of Renzo the Destroyer/Magnificent, as he has the sickest drip, but of course Hasbro had to drop the ball. This Weekend figure may not be the best example of what I'm saying, but from what I heard, the Jazwares figures may have been better than Hasbro for the most part. It's a shame that they lost the licence.

Not only was the Mark Ruffalo dodgy cgi in Infinity War, but he also seemed like he was drunk as hell. MCU Hulk sure is an anomaly. I haven’t read the comic myself, but I think one of the main reasons why people aren’t too fond of this Hulk Buster is because this model never actually fought Hulk. That’s what I’ve heard at least. Apparently it was taken over by something and the Avengers had to fight it and a bunch of other armor. So basically, it’s a little off to display this particular Hulk Buster fighting the Hulk. 😅 Also, the pumpkin basket ftw.

This is such a nice little Bumblebee figure. Considering how small and simple he is, I feel that he should have come with some more accessories, but I'm overall happy to have a proper G1 Bee. He looks great with the SS86 Optimus, too. ^^ The Siege Shockwave is indeed an awesome figure of the character, but he's definitely too dark of a purple. It's hard for him to stand out in my display because he blends in with the darkness. lol The lighter purple ones are cool, but I'm hoping that they make a brand new Shockwave with the lighter colors and way less panel lining.

The reason why the suit and mask look a bit different in No Way Home is they literally had to make a new suit for Tobey as his original one was falling apart. Which makes sense as it was made in the early 2000s.

In the 90s Animated Series, Vulture was an old man who wanted his youth back. He found a mystical tablet that gave him the ability to literally drain the youth from people he grabbed. He would then get the hair and Zoolander face with a younger voice, but the effect was only temporary, so he would have to keep doing this until he found a permanent solution. It's one of the wackiest Vulture stories I've ever seen. I guess they were trying to make Vulture a little cooler and more imposing, being younger and stronger compared to being a frail old man with bird wings. lol Also, that extra blond head is for Flash Thompson. There was a point when he dressed up as Spidey because he's a massive Spider-Man fanboy. He wanted to mess with Peter at some party while pretending to be Spider-Man. XD

It would have been cool if they made the hood removable from Doom, or even a lowered hood piece, just so we can see something a little different from him for display. Like, he throws off the cape with hood when shit gets serious. lol Taskmaster is easily the best one here, and he would have been perfect if the cape was made of a softer plastic. Hasbro wants to make all of their capes out of harder plastic now. That’s lame, but the figures are still great. ^^ Also, Super Hero Squad Show… That’s nostalgia right there. Wasn’t the biggest fan of it, but I always had it on in the background, and I can appreciate the many, many references and plethora of characters. Strange how Spider-Man and his associated characters were the only ones not in it. Not sure why. Probably a Sony thing, knowing them!

I’m with you on the overall silhouette of this Spidey. It looks much more like a traditional lean Spider-Man that isn’t oversized. Now, if they gave us a regular red and blue Spidey on this buck, _but_ with a ball jointed waist like the GI Joe Classified line, then it’ll be awesome.
