Good morning @jimshotrod2519. Appreciate your view point and don't disagree. There ARE many ways to build a cool vehicle, including hot rods. I am guessing you feel the same about street rods, incredible machine's like Brizio's and others. I think there's a place for all sorts of builds by craftsmen. I think the most important thing is that these get DRIVEN! Thanks for checking in and watching our video!

@@genauautowerks I like all hand built cars whether Rat rod trucks,4x4 off roaders, street rods, customs or traditional built hot rods ,I also build custom motorcycles -top marks to Rolling bones for creating a genre (although in the 80`s here in the UK we had a similar style created by "the Low Flyers") and marketing it ,I have seen a few videos of them ,nice cars but in one video I watched there seemed to be a lack of working gauges and to me shoddy fuel tank installation ,each to their own I suppose. The French blocks are not that rare ,they made thousands of them they came with 24volt starters and alternators! I have 3 mates that have them here in the UK and they can still be bought in France ,smaller capacity than for example a Mercury flathead but boy they do rev well-technically they do not comply with our VHRA race rules (and for all I know the S.C.T.A. rules for vintage engines- I have raced at Bonneville and had to use true vintage crankcases in my build)as they are post 1950 flatheads, modern materials etc make them more reliable than the pre 1950 flatheads. Indeed! We do not have radios in either of our classic cars. A JBL Bluetooth speaker and your phone can provide the appropriate Italian music as you pull up to a meet.

Congrats on owning an iconic car! For the driving portions we place the mic at the exhaust so we can here the note, but not get windnoise.

​@@genauautowerksAnother question. Those chrome bars you have installed between the rear bumpers, what are they for? I have them too, for the front also, but have no clue on what they are for, other than some extra protection. Is it a rally thing?

@@NoobOnGuitar Yes, those are for extra protection for the rear end. i believe it was an addition for the American market. Not a rally thing.

It's funny how that works. Alternating between my Japanese bike and my dad's Norton was never a problem. Something about left-right sides of the brain, Gordon Jennings speculated.

They are Western Pattern bars and were probably factory fitted. They are really comfortable bars, even if you don't like the look of them.

@@petergibbon3400 No way these were "factory fitted". And those mirrors - oh dear! 50-points alone off at any Concours Judging! And don't get me started on the Yank side reflectors and horn! The old Meridan guys are rolling in his graves at the "Yankerization" of their jewel! Oh dear!

I never saw a stock American Triumph with any other kind of bar. My Trident had that kind of bar and it was quite comfortable, especially on the highway.
