Great build do you still run these?
@@edgar180 I actually don't I sold the car. And my buddy bought the amp and subs, he has the same car so he was going to do the same build but still hasn't after all these years lol. I run a custom build soundstream xxx 15 currently in a center council box in a crew cab Ford. I do miss infinite baffle very much. I did 4 15 Rockville k6s ib in a taurus. Didn't ever get any videos for some reason
It sounds great. I thought you needed alot more air space behind the subs but it seems to be fine?
@@edgar180 it was plenty of airspace for these subs
Cool man
I assume a non VTEC B18

Hell yeah!
Worked great thanks bud
Glad This helped someone
C clamp works better
A real compression tool works better than a c clamp what's your point ?
Bro forget the haters that are telling you about the traditional methods, this blew my MIND; AS ITSALWAYS GOOD TO KNOW MULTIPLE METHODS WHEN IN A PINCH!
Yes sir! This 100% we want to know every single method. For when the time comes we can make all the difference
Just use a G clamp. Its safer, easier and a better use of tools.
Use what you have when you have it.
you do not push brake fluid back up into braking system that's how you clog up your system or worse destroy it
Ope sorry 😐 I'll continue doing this because yes
What are you talking bout 😂😂😂😂😂not true
Bro you need to get a c clamp
Why this is much easier and faster.
Yeah I'm trying this next time.
@@cronicjohnson might be faster, but it definitely doesn't look easier
@@DeepFreier it is very easy I was just rushing trying to make a video lol made myself struggle. Try it sometime. It's not an end all it's just a way to do it if you need to do it
They actually make a pair of vice grips style/ pistol grip style pliers that does a great job of what your trying to achieve!!
How do you know is a timing's right on the bottom?
It doesn't matter if nothing moves. you can set tdc with the spark plug out of cylinder one and lining up the time sprocket marks if you want to have true tdc when you do it
These days I run a 1st gen sound stream xxx 15 in a quad cab, i miss this setup Soo much.
Man I wanna hear that low bass from the 2nd half of the vid in person. Sounds like it’s diggin deep and clean
It was so clean I will always recommend for everyone to try and infinite baffle atleast once. Beyond a tline or aperiodic bi chamber ib is the best
That takes me back to my 90's Cerwin Vega build. Thanks for bringing back old school setups
I would love to make another ib with some of strokers
That 1-5 not 1-4
How much boost did it have? with which turbo? Stock? reprogrammable ecu?
That plays very flat, it's hitting high and low notes at approximately the same level, not bad
What was the bandwidth like?
It was pretty decent. Highest out put around 19hz. But was still musical.
@@cronicjohnson did you ever play duffel bag boy - playas circle or put on by jeezy? Curious how the lows compared to the high bass
@@romellojames6690 can't remember much from this setup any more. Just that out of everything I have ran its been my favorite
If you want a high-quality, affordable bluetooth speaker, the DINDIN brand will be your best choice. I bought a DINDIN bluetooth speaker, and I have been using it for almost a year and still love it.
Trash advertising
Always wondered if I did this, and then my fuel pump goes out afterwards how hard it would be to take back apart to change it😂
love it from malaysia
how much boost?
i have no idea buddy doesnt have the car anymore
So is it ported? I wanna do this with my cobalt. I wanna strip and dynamite the trunk and do this. Does it have to be sealed cant i just mount them on metal brackets and strip the back seats and every ting out & dynamatt? Im curious because the loudest system i ever heard was so loud i had to plug my ears. My wall didnt even so that. I mean this thing was 2 12 inch infinite baffle sound cubed subs. No box no nothing just two subs mounged on metal brackets mounted to the floor no nothing speakers amps wires and good electrical. To this day im baffled at how insane that sustem was. I have heard many walls. BUT NOTHING HAS EVER COMPARED TO THOSE TWO SUBS its like the whole car was the box. Craziest crap i have ever heard. I have always wanted to try it and get to the bottom of this.
This is not ported its infinite baffle. Trunk is completely sealed off the from the cabin
does it matter if trunk open or closed?
Can't play as high volume with the trunk open the subs will bottom on higher power. They play lower on low power
stupid question what if i invert the subs make a small sealed chamber on the trunk side maybe 1 cubic foot to increase cone control give it more power is this a good idea i know nothing about subs 😂😂
@@mikellbeltre3459 that would just be a really small sealed box then. You wouldn't like the output from that.
@@cronicjohnson copy thanks i think ima try your set up
Even with the qts 0.3 sheesh
i custom built them couldnt tell you the ts on them
Daaaaaaaamn…. Wish I could hear this in person!!
cant any more i sold them to a buddy who ironically bought an accord and is going to do the same setup lol
how many watts are needed to push the subs?? thinkin about doing an ib myself.
not alot. I was running it off of just the deck for a few days and it sounded great.
You still got it or nah.
nope i started to build it mid engine with a vq35 nd had to scrap it because it was insanely rusty
This is insane lol
Not IB. Trunk is acting as a enclosed box.
it is an ib front and rear wave are seperated. they don't interact. it's an infinite baffle.
@@cronicjohnson the rear wave still affects the cone it's not true IB
@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome should just look up the definition. This is considered ib set up
@@cronicjohnson no it's not because there isn't enough air space in the trunk Inorder for it to be a real IB the back wave cannot come into contact with the sub I E pressure inside the trunk What you have made is a sealed box now if you take the trunk lit off then it will be IB
@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome "There are two basic types of closed-box systems: the infinite baffle (IB) and the air suspension (AS). The IB enclosure is made large so the compliance of the air within the enclosure is greater than the compliance of the driver suspension. A closed-box loudspeaker becomes an acoustic suspension speaker when the compliance of the air volume inside the box is less than the compliance of the woofer by a factor of three or more." According to that definition, any sealed enclosure where the internal volume is larger than [Vas/3] is technically IB. The design tables in the Design Cookbook also support this defintion. That would mean that my DVC12 in 2 cu ft is really IB. The more widely accepted definition seems to be: "Any sealed enclosure with an internal volume greater than the driver's Vas." This would seem to be supported by part of Dickason's statement, "The IB enclosure is made large so the compliance of the air within the enclosure is greater than the compliance of the driver suspension." ; but not by the rest of it.
Definitely want to see how y’all mounted the m90
it had a custom fabricated mount front of the engine above the oil pan

Do you still have usable trunk space with this? I'm wanting to do something similar so I can have a usable trunk
yes pretty much full trunk space still
Best question on here.
I feel like with how big those subs are your trunk is basically a perfect sized enclosure
I mean if I'm wrong correct me plz but I'd say it's just like a big sealed box right??
@@diantrecreagh3269 in this case, yes. There's a few guys who actually have a true infinite baffle setup in their car because they've cut holes to the outside of the cabin.
Thanks for the vid, I'm starting my own similar build and me being not creative appreciates the reference to go off of.
I have a 15" flame q in a JL audio HO box , hits hard!!
do you still have very beautiful audiobahn saabwoofer
No that was my buddies we were testing years ago
ohhh yea my thing thing is hard ......boing boing
Throat hit and a fucking half lol
it was modded to one ohm but yes got pretty hot
how long do you run it ? how long will it go before shutting off from thermal protection ?
Damn that's one fugly ass teg
Why do people give integras so much shit and at that why give the probe shit they're both good cars, what makes a race is the driver not the car, you could be in a goddamn ford aspire racing some fucktard in a porche and if they can't drive they can't win simple as that. It's kids like in this video that give certain cars and the people who own them bad names. No your STOCK integra is not badass nor is the probe, drop some money into a car make it unique and then talk shit, being a bolt on wond
Closed windows and being alone at high speeds on the race would matte!
Poor Teggy!!! :-(
LMAOO you aint never lied
He is running that amp at 2 ohms, if you run that amp at 1 ohm is going to be very hot because is a 2 ohms stable amp
Go Probes! Underrated. We get it in. Some people just don't know how to drive em or mod them right
@forrun1098 hahaha. That teggy is pretty depressing. Makes me wanna go n wash my teggy and give it some lovin!
is that a klze?
