This might be very emotional for the family, but it is absolutely important. In that we are welcomed like this and very very grateful and emotional for us. We may not be crying or even show much emotion, because of what we have had to push emotions inward and not let it out! If we was in a very active combat zone it takes us time to relax and switch back to lessened heightened Awareness of our surroundings. My first trip back to Walmart was so overwhelming in sensory overload with all of choices of stuff, colors and other things. The biggest is the amount of freedom of movement and people acting like nothing is going on overseas. I was surprised by that. I was super glad our citizens can do that so easily because that is what we fight for, but to be direct it is feels like a slap in the face to our buddies and other troops are killed or permanently damaged for life physically or mentally! I hope there are organizations that are there for troops that don't have anyone welcome them home and are able to greet these troops. I had 3 in my group and was fortunate to know first hand so we included them in our celebration! I love this video and wish this family the absolute 👌! 💯.
