Norvan Falls 12-3-24
(Video in 4K, Please change setting to allow 4k video quality for best quality viewing)
Little behind on posting lol
Took a trip up to Vancouver B.C. to do a hike. I picked out this easy 16km round trip about 11.5 miles on a 34 degree, clear sky day to Norvan Falls. At first I didn't think I was going to get the hike done, do to an issue getting across the border. I guess they were sketch on me being a solo hiker and going by myself. Luckily I had my Goodrows Adventures Facebook, Instagram, and UA-cam page. Once they went over my pages, search me, my hiking gear, and car, they let me in and the hike was on. Video speaks for it self, I definitely will be going back to Canada this summer to get several hikes in. Gorgeous area and new hiking territory for sure for me.
Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions, comments, recommendations, etc. on here or email me at GoodrowsAdventures@yahoo.com
Happy Hiking!

We talk about our snowshoeing trip at Mount Rainier on Mazama Ridge, and weird encounters with people he has had in Pack Forest at Mashal Falls. Unfortunately at this point we sta...

Another easy peasy backpacking trip in the book. This time I was in the Olympic Mountains and took the HoH Rainforest trail to Happy Four thats just about half mile past Five Mile Island. The weather was great, and the river felt good to cool off in.

To Start off the summer I went out for an easy peasy backpacking trip. On paper its only 10 miles round trip but overall, after doing several small trips, once we sat up camp it came out closer to 20 miles.

26 degrees and overcast day, that equals a great day for a hike. Woke up late and got on trail by 10am. Felt like I was all by myself for this wonderful easy out and back hike up to Granite Lakes. Parts of the trail were pretty icy and the lake was completely iced over to the point I could stand on it. I enjoyed this hike and hope you enjoy the video. Please be sure to like the video and subscr...

Took a mental health day from work and decided to hit up the trail. It was a nice clear day but a little on the chilly side. The winds were brutal at the top of Granite Mountain making the wind chill super cold. Mount Rainier was visible in the distance. You can see the entire photo album on Facebook at Goodrows Adventure. Today I ended up taking a 3.5 hour drive to Silver Creek Falls State Park and did Trail of Ten Falls with three of my buddies. The day was gorgeous and the trails were awesome. To bad the trail was super packed to the point I will not be going back again. Two big boys hiking Rampart Ridge Backdoor with class 2 and borderline class 3 scrambles. This trail round trip to Rampart Lakes is about 6 miles but the first 3 miles is steep with about 584 feet elevation gain per mile. This trail is rated difficult with amazing scenery. #Rampartlakes #hike #hikemoreworryless #mountains #mountainlake #adventure #pnw #hiking #hikingadventures #hikinglife

Did a hike up to Mount Fremont to the fire lookout and got some night pictures. It got pretty cold once the sun went down but the hike up in the day light gave me some awesome scenery and the hike down at night was fun with its own type of adventure.

Hoh Rain Forest Trail 5HR Hike oh MY!!!
Love seeing the moisture burn off the top of the lake. Glad you're enjoying fall on trail!
Love fall hikes!!! The colors were amazing, and the lake was awesome in the morning, showing it's true beauty. I loved how the plants had the moisture on them that made them shimmer. Happy Hiking!
the question is ,,this is isup creek mt ranier? i went thier as a boy scout,, the main camlground was big and we hiked up a roas then crossed a river
@gosplechrist6850 Yeppers, its ipsut creek at Mount Rainier via the Carbon Glacier trail. If you ever get a chance you should go back an visit. Every year it changes from the storms that come through changing the landscape.
Filming in portrait is so annoying... Why didn't u film in landscape?
It was a fun beautiful hike. Very crowded
thank you for the walkthrough we thought we were lost 😂
Lol hope you guys enjoyed the cave. I went one year when ice was all in it, that was interesting. Please be sure to hit the subscribe button also go like my other socials: FB: Goodrows Adventures IG: Goodrows_Adventures And podcast on most platforms except Apple Goodrows Adventures Thank you and Happy Hiking.
If you’re ever interested, you should consider volunteering with Washington Trails Association. They have day work parties on Huckleberry Creek and Snoquera Falls trails this summer. Sign ups on their website. Anyway, cool videos
I have considered it before. I'll look into and get some information on it. Thank you 🙂
The thing about hiking is getting out on nature. Away from the concrete stresses of life.
Where is the best place to park if I wanted to go see this place?
I just found a safe spot on a near by dirt road.
Video needs more light.
Thanks you for the feed back. Will work on the lightning. Would you say it's the entire video, inside part, or the outside part that the lighting was bad?
Beautiful. Thanks for showing us.
I had the opportunity to be in that house, it is like a time travel. One of the owners of that property is friend of my uncle. Very interesting place, I’m looking to go back to Washington on hunting season and probably we’ll stay in that house l.
That is awesome, I would have loved to see inside that house.
hello how far away is there decent light with center focus, greeting.
Greetings Ledred Terminator and thank you for the question. Most of the time I used floodlight mode on medium setting. This is 150 lumens, 12 hour runtime, and 98 feet or 30 meter. I honestly felt I had good lighting that I has happy with at about 33 feet or 11 meters. I would switch to high setting when I entered a more open area. That setting is 400 lumens, 8 hour run time, 157 feet or 48 meters. On this setting I felt I had good lighting at 53 feet or 17 meters. Now on both these setting the spillage was good 👍🏽 Now onto the focus beam/spotlight I used medium setting most of the time. This setting is 150 lumens, 12 hour run time, and 288 feet or 88 meters. I felt I had good lighting on this setting at 96 feet or 32 meters. When I entered a more open area I did use high setting. This setting is 400 lumens, 8 hour run time, 488 feet or 149 meters. On this setting I felt I had good lighting at 162 feet or 54 meters. Now when I did use spotlight turbo mode along with floodlight high mode I was easily lighting up and entire football field. Only problem with this is the light will automatically turn it self down after a certain time period to help save battery power and stop of over heating. In the video starting at the 9:30 mark you can see me in a cave and mountains testing the brightness and distance. Hope this answered your question and happy exploring
@@goodrowsadventures9705 if great information is appreciated
