0:00 - 16:36 We OWE you for this mountain / valley experience capture
Thanks for watching, the comments, and the like! The Green Valley Falls pics. were taken just as the sun slipped behind the hills which cast shadows on the still-bright light - Doh, I'll have to try again. Yeah, it's too cool to be above the clouds and walk down where they flow over the tops of the trees and through the valleys. The park is a great place to saunter away the hours and connect with what is more alive than me. I'll have to explore Mount Laguna and smell the trees when I get a chance.
@@aquasight1019 1. aqua: "9 hours ago Thanks for watching, the comments, and the like!" PABLO: You're most welcome! They seemed to just flow out of me; so much emotion due to having been IN / THRU virtually every single place you show here / having seen virtually all of these specific beautiful views and quite thrilled each time I ran by (having lived, from mid-1965, some 40 years in the San Diego area of California (and doing tons of hiking THRU 1977) & having run ultra-distances every day for the last 28 years of them (1978 - 2005)) (Heck, I had 3 separate years, 1981, 1985 and 2001 during which I ran 50 weeks that year, 200 miles or 28.5 miles-a-day each one of those weeks = 10,000 miles run (medium-speed long-distance) in one single year! I had a fourth 10,000-miles-run year, 2004, but that was after we'd left Cal.) 2. aqua: "The Green Valley Falls pics. were taken just as the sun slipped behind the hills which cast shadows on the still-bright light - Doh, I'll have to try again." PABLO: This sentence or two(?) surprised me doubly. That you would describe exactly the time / conditions of the GVFs pics - makes one (or at least me - lol) appreciate them even more. AND that you found fault in them - when I first watched this section of the video, I wasn't thinking, "If only Tim had done something a little different / better with his camera ..." Nope. It was just 100% exhilarating for me. 3. aqua: "Yeah, it's too cool to be above the clouds and walk down where they flow over the tops of the trees and through the valleys. The park is a great place to saunter away the hours and connect with what is more alive than me." PABLO: Yes, yes, YES to all of the above EXCEPT ... except how could anything be "more alive than YOU"??? lol PABLO: I / we (Patty and I) would live in exhilarated fashion if we were there by your side on these hikes! PABLO: Back to the clouds: RISING UP to the low edge of the clouds: the anticipation of being engulfed by them; WITHIN the clouds: you can get quite damp and the sound is wondrously muffled; ABOVE the clouds: blindingly mesmerizing views, sweet-sweet air, dead-still air changing to whistling-by (even chilling) - all your senses feel so different, so alive! 4. aqua: "I'll have to explore Mount Laguna and smell the trees when I get a chance." PABLO: If you'd care for them, I/we could make some suggestions about hiking in the area all around the (former?) Sunrise Highway Trailer Park - the four of us lived there for 3 years (2000 - 2002) (quite near the Fire Department) and ran / hiked daily (often significant distances in one general direction or another). In my case, I ran a minimum of 2.5 hours EVERY day there - and never took a single picture on any of those runs! Talk about "DUH!" Doing as much hiking as you do, you might well imagine how many beautiful views we witnessed, how many wild moments we experienced - just non-stop thrills. 5. A REFLECTION: After all this time, at least the 16 years since we left California, (and the fact that during the 3 last of those years, we lived in Boulevard - so far from the beach that we virtually never went there - thus did we ever even see you there then?) it is a REALLY SPECIAL PRIVILEGE / HONOR to be chatting with you here. Delightful!
16:07 It's been 16+ years, but I remember those feet.
10: - 11:18 Once you've hiked above the (lower) cloud level you get mesmerized by views like these. PEAKS, "Lord/Lordess of the Universe"?, appearing as islands - delicious. ... Always made me think, "What most people never get to see. How lucky I am." Such quality pictures/vid - the next-best-thing to being there.
7:46 music and scenery that takes me back to "Dances With Wolves". Wondrous Cuyamaca Lake: awe in every direction. Don't go getting a "big head" on us and all, but has anyone ever told you you're a fine photographer? lol
6:00 ish. These open meadow scenes, experienced "up close and personal" either thru walking thru them or running thru them, can fill one full of sweet emotions. The fresh air, the rolling interesting terrain (nearby "flatness", farther off views-of-peaks), and THE FLOWERS (at their time(s) of year). Not to forget the occasional deer (can you stop quickly enough AND maintain yourself still enough to delay their moving away) or snake (ever jump over one, even a rattler, in the middle of a run?!). Makes you feel so darned alive.
4:32 "Green Valley Falls". Oh boy! I wasn't thinking about the possibility of you "covering" Green Valley Falls when I began watching this video. I WAS just moments ago thinking about asking you to: PLEASE, DO MOUNT LAGUNA - (especially the areas around the (former?) Sunrise Highway Trailer Park) - seeing as the four of us, I (Pablo), Patty, Paula & Teddy, lived there for 3 years 2000 - 2002. We hiked, and especially ran-long-distance, all over the area. I ran 3-4 hours daily - so got quite far up/North and down/South on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT).* On one of my longest (perhaps longest) runs I went over to Cuyamaca Rahncho State Park via a quite rocky and very up-and-down dirt trail. About half-way into the run, I crossed paths with a guy on a bike. Clearly he was quite the athlete; yet he looked me over in awe saying, "I KNOW what you are - to be this far out on a run! You're a super-athlete!" I WAS in such monster aerobic shape that I was still feeling fresh at that point. So 100% for sure, such a video from you would be an absolute pleasure / thrill for all four of us! But what about Green Valley Falls itself? I went to Univ. of San Diego (a private Catholic-run college) from 1967-70 (3.5 years thru graduation). It wasn't long before a small group of us were regularly, every weekend, driving up (some of us, including me, on our motorcycles) to Green Valley Falls. Upon settling in next to one of the sweetest little waterfalls, we'd smoke week, drop LSD or especially DMT (if I remember the initials correctly) and just "become one with nature" for the next several hours. So ... I'm really looking forward to what appears next in this video. * LATE ADDITION: As well as West - towards and/or to Cuyamaca; and East - towards the cliff edges ... with incredible vistas of the far below Imperial Valley, stretching out, on clear days, incredible distances!
Beautiful
Thanks, Warkop & I appreciate your watching.😊

Outstanding tour! 8:22 What coastline are we seeing? I lived in the San Diego area from 1967 - 2005 (38 years); hiked and/or ran thru many rural places - perhaps none of these places - but still similar beautiful views.
That is a zoomed-in picture (200 mm) taken atop Kwaay Paay Peak of downtown San Diego/Point Loma. Thanks for watching and the compliment!
@@aquasight1019 That's what it looked like to me; but I was thinking that these sights were taken too far north for downtown (and Pt. Loma behind it) to be visible. Thanx for presenting and for the quick response.

Love the slideshow! We were just at black's beach on May 31st and June 1st of 2021 (our first time). My bf actually said he thought he saw what looked like a dolphin leap out of the water but he wasn't sure. After seeing this photo, I just informed him that it proooobably was a dolphin haha.
Ah, thank you so much for your kind words and viewership! Black's Beach is, in my view, San Diego's finest beach for its raw beauty - hope you and your boyfriend found that to be the case too. Yes, if you keep an eye on the water you'll see dolphins, sealions, seals, and (seasonally) gray whales. If you become a regular at Black's this slideshow might interest you of other lives that call Black's home. Thanks, Nikori Gaming😊 ua-cam.com/video/5P-doNSH6F0/v-deo.html
