triquence.org/ High-speed shots are taken at stacks of pucks and then replayed frame-by-frame and at slow-motion speeds. The following sequence is demonstrated in the video: ctrl-Shift-L: lock down ctrl-Shift drag with ctrl key down: to position the bullet drag with ctrl key up: to aim the shot o key: stop the physics engine release the mouse button: to shoot u key: take a capture for replaying...

triquence.org/?5c The spring pendulum is a fascinating, yet simple piece of apparatus in the lab: spring with hanging mass. The first clip shows the resulting system after adjusting spring length, spring strength, and hanging mass to produce a ratio of pendulum period to spring-bounce period of about 1.8. Ratios near 2 will produce a system that wanders back and forth between two modes: a pure ...

Hooke's law springs have reduced stability as shown in the first two clips. You can play with the tap dancer here: triquence.org/?5a.twinkle After the demo loads, use the shift-alt-S command, and check to see that the timestep is set to 17ms. The third clip shows energy loss in an undamped distance joint (right side, third row). The Hooke's law equivalent (left side), shows the ideal undamped b...
Which collision detection algorithm have you us3d?
You can find the algorithm in this file: pet.triquence.org/A07_air_track_hollow_cars Search for this block "if (air_track.pi_collisions):" in the main animation loop. The collision detection differs from a normal physics engine. The high-frequency and small movements of this two-body interaction will cause a normal engine to go into settling mode where the two bodies essentially stick together. Special treatment is required.
When will you come back?

Is there a website or something that you can play with this at? I would love that!

I'm starting to code with python, I know a little about physics, do you have any advice, a route to follow so as not to get lost in order to be able to code physics engines? because I get lost on the tutorials on collisions etc. I'm not moving forward. Tha,ks you
Start with this small physics engine (about 1 page of code): pet.triquence.org/?one-d pet.triquence.org/A02.1_string_rendering_v1.html Give yourself time to recover from frustration. Set it aside and let your mind work on absorbing the new ideas. But come back to it. You have a worthy goal. Ask a friend, with a similar interests, to pursue this goal with you. Read books or web articles on game physics. Invest some time in using (playing with) a 2D engine: triquence.org/
How did you get two cursors
It takes two devices, one running the server code, one running the client code. I made that recording at my desktop (server code) with my left hand running a mouse on my laptop (client code).
I may be on the wrong side of youtube but I cant stop watching your videos, idk why.
Thank you for watching. Glad you came to visit in this neighborhood of youtube.

Cool! How did you learn pybox2d ? ,I am searching a lot and I am not finding what I want 😔.
I mainly use these two references: www.iforce2d.net/b2dtut/ github.com/pybox2d/pybox2d/wiki/manual

Can you share the code?
All python code is on this page: pet.triquence.org/?countpi Here is a direct link to the code for this video: pet.triquence.org/A07_air_track_hollow_cars.html
Great tutorial, thank you!
