Hmm that sucks. I've got over 200hrs now and everything works like it should, with a couple minor things. You know it was probably the guy that assembled it likely the mechanic where you purchased it stripped out the bolts when he put it together. I would not say the ls is junk.

Thats some farm weldin. All that white smoke is toxic and causes zinc poisoning should be ground off as well as chamfered. Your root pass is the most important weld

Number one: The clutch linkage issue could very well have turned into a rollover. Your quick reaction to shut it down saved that. Good job! Number two: The cotter pin on the joint adjacent to the clutch linkage looks like a very thin flimsy way to make such an important connection. The manufacturer should have known better. Number three: If you're going to use a bolt to secure the linkage, use a locking nut instead of two nuts. You can secure the linkage without crushing it and this leaves the bolt free to move without risking the nut vibrating off. IF you do use two nuts, get a cheap Harbor Freight wrench and grind it thinner for the bottom nut so you can turn the top nut without the bottom wrench grabbing both and scrap the new cotter pin. Now, for the real reason I was watching your video... I wanted to see your thumb in action. From what I saw, it looked pretty good giving credence to _"there is no such thing as scrap metal"_ when you can weld. Nice job!
