@melissayackley9067 that's great! I saw your stories and thought "thata girl!" Mine turned out so dark and glorious. I probably could've gone longer as the bones didn't get mushy, but I'm satisfied and have 3 1/2 qts in the freezer.

@scofieldfarm it definitely is. Most of the beet bed got disrupted by a critter. So I need to resolve, again. I'm going to have to buy onion sets this year and Wyntour won't have them until 11/1. It took me over an hour to take my green bean plants down yesterday.

@scofieldfarm it was really depressing but God showed me the beauty still there. After sprucing it up its looking better. I'm checking the Lichfield Angel roses everyday for new growth.

@scofieldfarm I almost break down every time I walk out the door. This morning I was fertilizing the tomatoes, peppers and beans and they were jumping in my hair and on my face. My arms and legs had dozens on them. I'm going to spray my non edibles but were supposed to get 20-30 mph winds on these 111° next couple of days. So no spraying either. They get worse every day.

@@scofieldfarm aw you are sweet. They're trying to eat all of my flowers and more some than others. I'm trying to focus on what's still pretty. Be sure to check out this coming mondays video. It shows them even worse.

There's little spider webs, and the foliage starts to take on a disease speckled look and then starts to die. They spread fast and badly.

Yes, that's a hedge of just 5 Lichfield Angel by David Austin. This year they got about 6' x 6' !!!! I highly recommend. They're low on the fragrance but make up for it it beauty.
