keep going!
Seeing this from day 1 is amazing
Sadly isnt my art it is a buddy we commission wanted to highlight some good artists processes!
This is so inspiring to watch!
Thank you glad you find it so!!
WOW, seing this makes me realize that I can"t remenber how it was to struggle drawing a simple face, and when a i was a nub in drawing that was my goal, don't even remenber the feeling of struggle. I achieve my goal I guess.
Looks great!
I'm seeing evolution
dumelang (^3^)/
@5:10 I think it's a mistake to assume that her cranial bones are the same size as her hair. the cranial bones should be smaller because hair has thickness. You know... Just imagine wrapping a ball with a blanket, you draw the cricle/sphere on the ball not on the blanket. So at 5:10 the cricle/sphere way too big imo. BTW have you try design doll before? its really good software to make pose and also free but you cant save or export the model in free version tho.
@@Mrgrim888 I will have to look o have used clip studios 3D models a few times. In terms of the cranium ye was something after I realized and knew but was just placing oddly.
Found me another artist folks on YT, consider me subscribed
Thank you!
YO8U7 BEST !
Emiru😂
@9:33 I think you should focus on drawing her head first before adding her hair. Once you have the proportions of the head correct, you can start working on the hair. Even pro artists would struggle if they didn’t lay down the foundation first. lol
Yeah pretty much is where I am at right now and why I havent been "focusing" on the hair really that much
Try drawing on paper, you'll learn a lot faster
what is the software you use??
@@thisumsanujayavinvidu9944 clip studio
please continue this!!! ur the only one that inspires me to sit down and draw!!
@@maryamebadi7878 glad I am! Plan on continuing as much as possible with daily uploafs might not be continuous pieces until later
Good work :)
I think this is probably the best method to learn to draw because your improvement between your first video and this one is astonishing, your consistency and effort is really showing results, keep up the good work bro!
Thank you! Ye it is mostly just trying not to 1:1 make it into anime style!
Good job again. You are getting better. I can’t wait to be part of your art community
Cant wait to have you and everyone else!
you're doing so great ^^ keep going
Hey! Just came across your channel. First off, it’s great to see that you’re working so hard to get better! You’re clearly very interested in art and want to pursue it! A couple of things though. I would say put a hold on this art challenge thing for now and focus on the fundamentals: lines, shapes, perspective, values, etc. Because your drawings are very flat as you haven’t learned how to suggest forms. And that’s ok! We all start somewhere. I’d recommend drawing from life instead of through images and especially images of stylized art. And on that note, I’d also recommend drawing traditionally. A quality Strathmore sketchbook or drawing pad plus some graphite pencils will only set you back about $20. Definitely cheaper than a drawing tablet. This will speed run you into basically being able to draw anything. Your anime girls will look insane in just a year. Think about it, having to consider how your material sits on a surface, planning out your drawing, interpreting a 3D object in front of you into 2D, etc. are all *insanely* difficult. I also recommend joining an art community online or preferably irl to get in that feedback loop because starting out you really need to build a solid foundation of fundamentals. A mentor would be even better. Checkout Drawabox as well. I find that it’s a great starting point.
Good job. Just remember characters have forehead. Overall I am very proud of you, so keep practicing and drawing.
Ye my scaling is way off on doing the hair in such which I have to keep in mind
please dont stop 🙏been one of your motivations to learn to draw
Wow, this has definitely seen improvement over Day 1. Some things to note: 1. Should try to either make the face thinner or taller to compensate, it looks kind of wide 2. Hair should be taller, ends a little too close to the face
Ye this is my mistake of trying to do IRL to Anime 1:1 which I was not ready for yet. It is something I should just fix for future placements! Will have something new im trying tonight.
@MurasakiAtelier I don't think IRL to Anime 1:1 is possible, and that's true for most stylizations. Anime is based off reality, like most other styles, but is unique from it. It'll look weird if you simply smush the two styles together. Using IRL as a reference is a good idea though and is useful, as long as you know not to accidentally make a 1:1 translation into your style; it'll look wrong most of the time.
@stevetrzz ye I accidently tried without meaning to for sure!
THATS SO GOOD
@@Oh_ok1111 hahha thank you can still improve and noticing little things to change
Yay you did a good job. You will definitely get better if you keep practicing and drawing
@@Noob-e1t thanks! We are almost out of the head phase with it being focal in alot of images why I'm going so hard on it
keep it up, and one day you'll make it!
@@N243K thank you!!
you are improving really fast! im also learning to draw this year and im on day 18.. haha its kinda hard but really relaxing and rewarding so yeah lets give it our best shot
@@cxstarfan wish you the best don't be afraid to take breaks or slow it down something I'm learning now
Good job, it ok we all have that one day where we feel like we didn’t do good. But remember even a great artist need to make a lot of bad art to make a single good art. Now for some tips, you need to remember that the spaces between the eyes can change depending on the face and head perspective. I recommend that you can either use real life reference or other art reference to help you understand the perspective. Another thing, is that you need a bit more hair since the head has a cranium and forehead. Overall good job, we will always be proud of you and keep drawing and practicing❤❤❤
@@Noob-e1t ye when I slept on it I definitely remembered any the eye distance
I'm pretty sure that when you draw a face from a low angle, the chin curves into an upside-down U shape rather than your regular V shape. You also might need to make your faces smaller (or the features bigger), there's a ton of open space that makes it look kind of off, ESPECIALLY in the forehead and chin area. You could add more hair there, make the mouth bigger or the chin smaller. Good going today!
@@stevetrzz ye the feature bigger has sort of been my realization. I been making the head circle big mostly to fit space but will need to be adjusted
So cool! WIshing you good luck on your journey! Practising can be made more fun if you like drawing your favorite characters! This is especially important for later if you gotta go through the anatomy eventually!!!
Yep anatomy will more then likely start next month!
Progress!!!
I think it's better you start actual human anatomy. Rather relying anime stylized proportions most great artist even Japanese start with actual human studies before stylizing them. I get you want to draw anime but drawing real life photo doesn't hurt either
Ye that is super fair and understanding, just been something im focusing on mostly due to time constraints an hour or two a day to be further away from the goal also hurts somewhat.
@MurasakiAtelier you can use reference, human anatomy guide for the anime you don't necessarily have to draw real life drawings. Don't rely on other artists stylized anatomy some of them are just personal preference. You can develop your own style by learning real life anatomy and preference that seems what you like.
@@mellowne411 Ohhhhh ye! This I agree, I try to use realistic ones for more art going forward. I'm mostly using existing drawings for just stylization ideas and things I like about their drawings or reference for a character!
ohhh i'll try this drawing method later😳😳
Good job. To be honest I don’t know what you draw, it not that it bad it just I am not very good at guessing😅. Anyway hopefully soon you can try drawing body in the future but overall keep practicing.
@@Noob-e1t hahha fair fair ye bodies will more be the focus starting next month probably I still need to fix my mouths some and hair
Looking good!
Thanksss we are getting there!
You really are getting more better and better. I like how you design your own eyes. It look like you also already pretty good at drawing hair. Maybe some day you could try to drawn your own character
Thanks dont think im ready for that yet with creativity, mostly will stick to fan art for the time being! I have an OC that I had someone draw me forever ago
Hey, just q silly question but are you drawing with the mouse cursor or at a iPad similar thing with a pencil?
Drawing with a Kanvas Tablet by Huion. But you can get by without something so expensive.
Where u get your lessons?
Eithre line sensei or things I am finding studying
@MurasakiAtelier nah I see it it's Marc Burnet I'm doiing the first 30 days lol
@@PillowheadCreations Ahhh ye that one as well!!! Sorry I follow a few and couldnt remember all of them
14:25 the circle isn't actually too big, its too much to the left. Since she's in a bit of a profile the right edge of the circle should go a little bit further to the right than the jaw line ;) Good luck on the rest ^^
Oh wow, that really really good.
Ye Loxtix is super goated I love working with them!!
To also be clear this isnt me drawing ;)
Oh that alright, I still think you will do a good job, at least you have people who will join and support you on your art journey
I root for your improvemnet.
Thank you!!!
good on you for putting in the work but man please please please get off of the generic anime and aspire to better art
@@hypno5690 it is currently the art I enjoy and branding for merch currently, sorry!
just recently came back to drawing after not doing so for 1-2 years, looking forward to your progress
You’re advancing fast :)
Thank you!! Think really not doing long drawing session help retain things better to think about
@@MurasakiAtelier Yeah, you don't need to draw for hours straight to improve. Just do as much as you are comfortable with in one sitting so your brain can process and remember everything. And of course, getting good sleep improves every aspect of your life, including learning. It might only be a subtle difference, but it builds up.
Good job again. I like how instead of copying the reference one on one, you use it to create your own drawing which is good. You are definitely getting better and you will be a great artist in a short amount of time.
Bro got the starter pack
Not sure what this means but think its a compliment so thank you!!!
