How to Knit a Frog

You'll need to have this pattern in front of you www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/frog-48 or www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1160794362/frog-knitting-pattern to make any sense of this video. It's not perfect - I'm a knitter not a filmmaker, but hopefully it will give you some guidance. There is no voice-over, sorry!! (I have budgies at home!!) You'll notice there are two ways to knit the legs - with wi...

Lovely! I was doing it *almost* correctly. I've simplified the pattern a bit for my own use only to use a larger yarn but keep the same size so I can make 30 of them without going batty.
Love this visual companion to the digital pattern! Thank you for such a lovely pattern. I’m an intermediate knitter and had to look up some of the knitting terms. I always love a pattern when I can learn something new. It takes a bit of patience, but, that’s knitting! Thank you for sharing your imaginative knitting pattern!
Thanks! This video was very helpful. I was getting a little frustrated but then I figured it out (: 💚
Felicitaciones tejes ESPECTACULAR MUY PERO MUY LINDO TODO LO QUE HACES SERÁS MI INSPITACION! 🙏🏼🫂
Yo igual estoy intentando entender :(
So I bought your pattern, I read the comments. If you write that there is a video with your instructions, it would be an advantage if the written and video instructions match. I'm not a beginner but I haven't seen anything like this yet. You are rude to people who have paid you, I can't understand that. it's just sad.
This is so cute
Dreadful video no sound I bought pattern would have been. OK to listen Don't get it impossible
I've read all your instructions and rewound your video numerous times and am still unclearn what fabric to use, yours looks perfect so I'd like to use the same, can you please share your exact fabric choice so I can buy, I'd like to make for my granddaughter for Christmas, thank you! Great video, you didn't skip over anything, well, other than the fabric choice, unless I missed it!!! ❤
❤
I'm an experienced knitter and cannot understand a thing from this... It's really sad because I was so excited about this pattern and now I'm kinda frustrated :( :(
Did anyone add the wire armature to the body as she shows in the pattern? She doesn’t add it in the video so I gather it isn’t necessary?
Most of the pattern is easy but sewing the belly and chin on is the hardest part. She spent so little time on explaining it. So frustrating.
Please fix video. Unable to hear. Thank you!!
I also want to make mine but to scared to start. Maybe a private class for us that bought the pattern?
Bought the pattern, however there are some parts im a little unsure about, im used to hobby craft patterns, this pattern is quite difficult to follow, im unsure about step 14 and 15 is it repeat 13, 2 times for 14 and 2 for 15 or repeat twice as in one for 14 and one for 15. Also got a little lost with joining the ring at the start. It looks great just hard to follow
I'm an experienced knitter and this pattern is HARD. There's some discrepencies
@ceciliafaucher8030 I managed to make it in the end, I did it twice and both times, he ended up a little twisted, he came together OK really it may not be perfect but I'm happy with it :) hope you manage to finish yours OK
@@A7Xdookie thanks for your reply but unfortunately I don't get the short end (P3, W+Tp (Wrap and Turn purl - see Page 2). There's no 'elevated' part created as the row just before... very confusing
@ceciliafaucher8030 I just realised I posted my comment on the wrong video, I have a very similar pattern by the same designer, but it's crochet not knitting, I had both videos in my history and clicked the wrong one 😅. Sorry to hear you are still struggling. Her crochet pattern was also very confusing in places. Is the step you are stuck on part of the body or legs? I'm not familiar with knitting terms but I know on the legs there was a part which was pretty confusing, it was where you cam to the end of the row you had to chain two and turn the peice but it was worded strangely.
Bought the patteren ... it's unfathomable. Video isn't helping
I just bought this froggy pattern yesterday. I started to knitt but so hard to understand for me😢 want more help if possible 🥹
What size in the wire?
Всё очень понятно, огромная благодарность за вашу работу ❤
Magnificent!!!!! ❤❤❤
thank you ! I am happy~
Figuring out where to sew it together was incredibly confusing, could have used more pictures in pattern. Very cute once I finagled it together
Very helpful companion to the pattern!

No help without sound!!
I have sent you a e mail over a week ago I need help making The New kitten pattern, and you have not responded I f possible if there is still a video on how to make it if you could please post it or explain how to cast off the 6 nose stitches to make the bac ohf the head, I cannot figure it out Thank you Dee Leverone
im really struggling with the short rows, i dont know if im counting wrong but they dont seem to add up, it would be nice if there was a video showing the making of all the short rows :(
I am having trouble figuring out where to sew to get the cheek shape and the symmetry along the cheeks and body. Do you think you could provide an additional resource that maps the sewing path on the stitches or something?
Does anyone know the steps for the middle section? After the back bumps?
I’m quite an accomplished knitter but I’m struggling with this pattern. I got to the eyes where you W+Tp and W+Tk but it doesn’t seem to work out the way it shows… what am I doing wrong? And why is there no sound. So frustrating!
I’d love to see the full tutorial because I’m having a heck of a time figuring out the pattern.
Me too! 😔I bought it, so happy to create my frog, and what a disappointment to have to decipher the pattern. No matter how much I read it and reread it, I don't understand anything😢
Same, I had to re write it out next to each round.
I guess I'll rewrite it all at once before I even start it. I'm Italian but I've learned crocheting with US terms. I can't add UK terms on top of everything 😅
Omg!! I can’t make out the instructions !!! They are too light
5:48 Face squish
I don’t have sound unfortunately. Was it recorded without sound or am I just not able to access it?
Where can I find the whole pattern please?
amei eesses pássaros poderia dar o passo a passo
vielen Dank für die tolle Anleitung. Der Frosch ist so süß🥰🥰🥰
I'm working on my first guy and my mattress stitch was too tight so I re-sewed with, basically, a Frankenstein stitch. It seems like the mattress stitch needs to be pulled too tight and hides/tucks under the outside row of the two pieces, which I hate to lose. Do you have any tips to help this operator's error?
I could use some clarification- 1:52 at this point in the video, the pattern says to purl 3 stitches before wrapping and turning, but in the vid you only purl twice before wrapping. Is the 3rd purl meant to be the wrapped stitch? If I follow the instructions as written I only have 12 knit stitches after the short row, not the 13 written.
Lowkey thought this was a beginner thing and bought the kit. Now I have no clue what to do with this. Rip
What "IDC" means in this pattern?
