It’s well known Jon was born in Dorne, but he has the name Snow because he grew up in the north. Tiny little detail but those are the little things that helped world build in S1-4

I do kind of wonder what Arthur Dayne would have done if he'd won. He probably would have taken the baby and fled, protecting him for his entire life. And likely raised "Jon" to be a far better fighter than he actually became (although Jon did become a very good fighter, he didn't become Arthur Dayne).

Tbh, Rheagar Targaryen is one shitty person...This dude already had a son named Aegon with his actual wife, and he literally just disregarded him like he waa nothing and had an Aegon 2.0. He knowingly let the whole realm go to war and begin killing eahcother just so he could run off and cheat on his wife. Then after months of doing whatever tf he wants, once his wife/mistress blows up with his kid, he abandons her in a tower in the middle of nowhere without adequate medical care. Then has 2 very capable knights who could have helped in the war effort, just casually standing outside sharpening their swords and twiddling their thumbs while the pregnant women is bleeding to death right behind them. Then he leads a fresh, well equipped army that outnumbered the rebels straight to defeat. Legendary asshole...

That shot of Arthur at 4:50 defending himself against 4 swords is just incredible. This scene is maybe my favorite in the whole show. It’s the only time in my life where I saw someone realistically defend themselves against multiple people. He just looks unbeatable

Was Jamie a better swordsman than Ned Stark ? Jamie admired the Sword of the Morning and hated Ned for killing him. But he had doubts about Ned's victory. It looked that Ned could hold his own against Jamie but I wonder if he would have won if the fight had gone the distance.

It doesn't seem particularly honorable that Sir Dayne would block Edward Stark from seeing his kinfolk. Why couldn't Stark's men maneuver Sir Dayne and his henchman so they were facing the tower. This would give Edward a chance to slip away while his companions played defense against a superior swordsman?
