“I’m a loser” Go hang out with other losers! Problem solved
Why does God allow for babies and children to be born, suffer from diseases or abuse from parents, and die right after?
@@yareyaredaze9450 The question of why God allows infants to enter a world of suffering only to die is deeply challenging. Catholic theology teaches that God's ways are beyond our full understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9). Life, even if brief, is a gift, and every soul is precious to God. The Church believes in the hope of eternal life for these innocents, trusting in God's mercy and love (Matthew 19:14). The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1261) expresses hope that unbaptized infants are entrusted to God's mercy. Suffering and death are part of the human condition due to original sin, but through Christ's resurrection, we have hope in eternal life (Romans 5:12-21).
@@curiouslycatholic living for a few weeks or months writhing in pain to die either to illness, hunger or sexual or physical abuse. And for what? They will get the same after life as many others do. Why do you and I get to live a good life with happiness and pleasure and they didn't? God is cruel and evil to choose such a life of pointless suffering for them, for they can't learn or attain or have happiness while on Earth and others can...
Looks like you need to do reviews of Evangelion anime. Given your name is Evangelion. 😂
Theology of the body read it St.John Paul 2nd
There's no way people are turning towards Catholicism. Evangelicals have major problems too but not nearly as much perversion of the Bible as Catholicism.
We’re surprised too! But it seems Catholicism has a lot to offer, you should check it out!

Jesus is the truth brother
Yes. He is the Truth. He is the Logos. Truth in Greek, in your Bible means Authentic, Reliable, "as it appears". Logos means Reason, the ethos of ideas we convey through words, aka Word. To speak a "word" is to share an idea through words. In Jesus, through Jesus all things were made. You do not know the scriptures and you do not know what you are saying. Since the beginning, God's invisible qualities (reason/logos/Word, Truth, Love, etc) have been seen in all that was made. This is all scripture. This is your God's Word to you. You need to repent of your intellectual dishonesty and willingness to use God's word to push something you don't understand and push what are actually lies against Christ. Anyone who follows the truth, as scripture teaches us, is following Christ, whether they know it or not.
Banger interview! But what would I know. I'm pretty ignorant...
Such verbage from a "godly" man...... Make my sin epic soul liberating all consuming raw lust and carnality
AMEN!
0:14 What do TOB and NFP mean?
TOB - Theory of the Body by Saint John Paul II; NFP - natural family planning, the tracking of the ovulation cycle in order to prevent pregnancy without using contraceptives.
@@davethesid8960 Small correction, its Theology of the Body, not theory. Thanks for the response
@@curiouslycatholic Ahh, autocorrect, and I didn't notice upon commenting. Thank you!
Clearly cannot speak English. Must be his Italian genes. 😂
I think the emphasis should be on Chasity rather than purity. We lack the infrastructure of chaperones of the past so many lose their virginity and then get shunned out of the community- it is why so many women are leaving the Church. There is even infrastructure set up to trick women, to pressure women, and even to rape women and get away with it. It is very difficult to avoid these pitfalls as a young naive woman. So many dates involve being alone with a man. Infrastructure needs to be rebuilt to protect both men and women. Also with porn, we now have the problem of perverted virgins. People who are virgins but yet are not chaste. Virginity was a good indicator in the past, and it is still a good sign, but now the issue is a bit more complicated as more than virginity is required. Action Items (1) Hold chaperone weekly date night (with bonding activities) and dances at the Church. Some ideas might be holding contra dancing night and team building activities. (2) Work to bring back free chaperones for dating. Witness help to avoid the social anarchy of dating. It protects men from the fear of false allegations and women from harassment. (3) Hire a young adults coordinator for activities
Great ideas Kaitlin, it's true the world has become very unfriendly to family centred, wholesome, courtship. But we can be the change we need to see, God bless
What if this is just a thought; what if marriage is not for me??? I ask this because I'm still single at 34, going on 35 this year. In a couple of years I'll be 40 maybe I waited too long, who knows. But all I can say that marriage is not always for everyone, but I can't take this desire of being with someone away from me.
If you are a healthy man you should look for a wife or live chastitily. Or maybe be a man of God.
My college roommate who was the most chaste man I ever met, was a virgin when he got married at 36, now has a little girl and a little boy on the way. My uncle who didn’t get married until he was in his FORTIES!!! Was known to date prolifically but always a gentleman. The ladies were all home by ten or were chaperoned if our later, was a virgin on his wedding night and proud of it. He has four kids and at last count 12 grandkids. I waited until I was 28 (also my wedding night). I have fought on three continents, six deployments, swam with sharks, whales, and countless parasite and contaminants, ridden bulls, been charged by Alaskan brown bears and all around chosen a challenging life. Waiting for marriage and being faithful in marriage is the hardest thing i have ever done BY FAR. It is the behavior that created western Christendom aka civilization. Literally the world depends on you being faithful.
Thats called sin. Not the sex part per se, but the part where we tell God listen I know what you want, but I want this other thing, and I want what I want. Marriage may not be your calling. I'd suggest most certainly not if its primarily for the sex. Doesn't mean you should enter a religious order either. Perhaps you're called to live a chaste life. I wish you luck with your discernment. But I pray you don't decide to settle on what you want and ignore God.
@@arthurgrey8967 That's not good advice. don't discourage him. The Bible says, "Which father among you will give his son a stone when he asks him for bread?"
And the atheist responded; where you ever a skeptic though? Because, I know plenty of atheist that don't apply skepticism.
So I had to turn up when you speak and turn down when guest spoke.
Hi Dom, audio feedback: your overall volume is a lot lower than everything else on UA-cam in that when I listen to others and come to your channel I have to turn up volume about 20 clicks. Also, your mic volume vs guest in this video is a lot lower. Need to balance both mics. Otherwise, great talk.
I think you mean "The Knights of the Southern Cross of New Zealand"!

Wow, great podcast. Keep the streak up
Jason Evert's Coming!?!?!?! so pumped for that!
Nah not confirmed yet. But some webinars, podcasts and the hopes of a future tour are in the works.
I distinctly remember the disruption caused by Herald Camping's May 21, 2011 rapture prediction. I remember the caravans. I remember the news coverage. I remember those people who gave up their jobs and their life's savings to support the campaign. The only difference between Camping and other Christians is that he was brave enough to actually set a date, and it wasn't the first time either. Camping set a date back in the 90s. Then he waited about 10 years and predicted the 2011 date. Christianity brings with it the destruction I expect it to, because it already has to a number of people.
The new background & lighting are looking good! Also, that audio sounds CRISP! 👌

Excellent session!! God bless Fr Douglas!! Prayers for our persecuted brethren in the Middle East, North Africa, China, Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, India etc Also prayers that Christians in the west wake up and grow more of a spine....not just the laity but also our leaders regardless of denomination. If we had even half the grit or resilience shown by those like Fr Douglas and our persecuted brethren abroad (much like the Early Church), we can rise out of this secularly dominated world and turn the world upside down!! Prayers for us all to be more faithful to our calling and live it out!
Nice!!
Well said, after all our lives would be the only Bible most people whom we interact with would read!
