イースは9から初めて2作目が8でした。 フィールド曲はまさに神と言えるワクワク感に溢れている最高の音楽です！ 今までイースを手に取らなかった自分を責めたい
自分も9→8→10とトロコンするまで遊んでどれも最高傑作だけど、最終的にこの曲に勝るものはなかった！ 心の底からイースを知らなかった事を後悔するよね

最近のグラフィック綺麗なゲームはすぐ疲れて積みゲー化するけど、イースくらいのグラフィックが疲れないし何と言っても曲が良すぎてついつい入れ込んでしまう。８の曲は世界観とマッチしてるし操作も簡単で色々な面で特に快適だったなぁ。 音楽の使い方上手くてプレイ中何回鳥肌立ったか分からんわ。
この曲、イースから離れて イース8でたんや、ほーんて 始めてこの曲聴いたときに これがイースなんよ！！！て思いました 本当にいい曲ですよね 3度ハモリがたまらんのじゃあ！！！

I hate that this is the opening song. I get that they wanted to sell people on ys because of how awful falcom is at being a business but it really does belong at the end of a game not the beginning.
Hard disagree. This is perfect where it is, at the beginning, to set the tone. :)
Yea uh...you're weird. This shit is what made me put down other games i wanted to play/finish and immediately start this game when i got past the "intro" of this game and thought it was gonna be "meh" This game had an amazing af beginning impact and this song truly sold that experience. If a game can't hook you, who's gonna fucking bother getting to the end to even begin to enjoy this song if it was slapped there? Thankfully YS ost slaps 98% of the time so even if this banger was at the end, another great song in this soundstrack would have hooked me(and many others I'm sure). Regardless, i think this song was perfect where it was and since you usually retread thru the coast throughout the game, it's a beautiful reminder of how far you came and where it all began.
I farmed there until i reached a decent lvl before moving on to the next area. (By decent, I mean 5 or 6 lvl above recommended lvl.)

Ys was the first game I truly fell in love with, back when it was just a itty-bitty action RPG on the Sega Master System. To say this track brings a tear to my eye is not an exaggeration, it brings me back to 4 year old me seeing the world in all the potential splendor. The exhilaration of seeing just what's beyond the horizon, never losing sight of yourself and daring to do the impossible when the moment calls. This song captures all of that essence.
It feels sad knowing that Left Alive is so bad that its forgotten. I never even knew it had its own version of Lock and Load. Thank you for uploading this you are a hero!

8は神ゲーだったね
Falcom gets what video game music is supposed to sound like....I was bummed out on more modern video games for years, but the more ambient styles of recent times grew on me. Yet, I like to hear Falcom and similar style music, because it's like the vg music of old - melodic, uplifting, unapologetically sincere and driving This tune never gets old. I don't know if VIII will ever be topped.
have you played the Kiseki series from Falcom? The music there is very similar, and equally amazing.

No lie, this song is what prompted me to play the Ys series. Another video used this song as background music and I damn near lost my mind. "HOLY CRAP THAT MUSIC IS SO GOOD!!! WHERE IS IT FROM?!" I had known about Ys for a long time and knew it had amazing music, but when I found out THIS track came from Ys, that was it. No more waiting. I played all the (primary continuity) games in order JUST so I could get to this game and fully appreciate it. And holy SHIT was it ever worth it. Lacrimosa of Dana is firmly one of the best games I've ever played, with a soundtrack to match.

Same here. This song randomly popped up in recommended, and I decided to try it. Loved it, checked out some other tracks, got the game, and now, I'm a fan. Edit: Also, got my best friend into it. XD
This music is very powerful. You start your adventure on a beautiful and mysterious island full of things to explore. There could not be a better song to represent this place where we begin our adventure with Adol Christin.
Aaaaaand then bad stuff happens and people die... Honestly so far this game has been Ys' peak, Monstrum was okay and Nordics has been disapointing gimmick shit so far.
@@JonathanJoestarJuicefest The first death was so impactful for me since I hadn't seen any spoilers about it. I'd already seen others but not his death, and this scene really took me by surprise because I remembered him talking about his daughter etc. Yeah, IX was a lot of fun. I still have to test X to see what it's like.
