bit late but I just decided to rewatch these today. in one of the earlyer kamen rider videos you guys asked if there was a similar thing in western media. Short answer, there isn't. the way kamen rider handles seasons is what you get if DC decided that after Batman finished it's first story run they made a new series but this time the guy was orphaned because his dad was the criminal. the suit would still be bat themed but have more jagged edges and red theming in it. then the next story run would be about a love story where the guy is again a bat themed hero with vampire powers this time. (because kids like them vampires.) the girl will be secretly froma vampire hunter family using cat themed costumes. drama unfolds. the next story will be gadget based again and a duo. and instead of bats it will be dragons. because people think the bat them is stale. and so on and so on. Toei series tell a story in the span of a season and then the story ends. then the next season it's time for a fresh season with new ideas and new themes. there will be elements to tie it all together. final moves are kickes belts are unwieldy big gadgets to sell to kids. The reason we don't have something like this in the west is because the executives behind tv shows keep rehashing the same stories because they made money then so they should make money now >.<

To be honest, this is one of the most negative reactions to Ultraman endings on UA-cam (mostly Rick btw). You don't seem to like slow & chill songs even though it's the general rule for endings since they are made to send audience away after watching their show, not to excite them with upbeat songs & crazy visuals. Also, Rick seems to unable to comprehend (or accept) the idea that some Ultraman shows are made for little kids. As for the Netflix show endings, they were just having fun. After all the serious stuffs that happened in the show itself, they just want to chill the audience with some dance numbers for the endings. A lot of people can appreciate & have fun with them even when they're new to Ultraman stuffs. Also, yes, *Ultra Q* is part of the Ultra franchise. Ultra Q was the first Ultra show before even the first Ultraman aired. And subsequent Ultra Q shows continue to deal with strange phenomena & kaiju without the help of Ultraman.

Is this really the final one? Then, would you watch shin ultraman M78 by Kenshi Yonezu? And yeah, you haven't finished Blazar and the second half of it are really good too. Well, if you want to give Ultraman another chance, look up Ultraman the next movie or Ultraman Mebius and Ultra Brothers movie. Or maybe Ultraman Gaia Battle in Hyper Space the movie.

From New Zealand, George Costanza is the best and has some of the best lines ever. My kids (now 31 and 25)grew up with Seinfeld and it will always be no.1 for us because it was their childhood along with The Simpsons. This clip doesn't do him justice

One year late but i hope i am still okay to write this here for additional info (mind my english, not my first Language) : 1. Most classic Ultraman series using practical miniature ships/vehicles and miniature base/station included with it mechanic. Just like how they use the practical miniature environments. No CGI used. Only begin In modern era Ultraman, they start using the mix of CGI and practical, so not realy leaving the old ways. 2. All Ultraman series since the first one which was Ultra Q were all real peoples films (Not anime), some anime and CGI versions only addition. Ultraman series (even not all) also had movie versions related to their series. 3. Ultraman are thrace of the Ultra Peoples, who are the original resident of Planet U40 in the Planet Ultra U40 World (Their planet also been called the Hikari no Kuni / Land of Light). Originally, People of U40 were the same size as human with human characteristics and born like human. And one day U40 peoples created the Ultra Mind, an object which brought about a spiritual evolution in their people turning them into more powerful beings and eventually able to do 'Ultra Change' and transform themselves into Ultra Humanoids or what earth peoples called as Ultraman. There some Ultraman that cannot survive too long in Earth's atmosphere without merging with human body. But there are some Ultraman can survive without need to merging but by turns themseves as human (also in other way). Either way, in human form, to turn themselves into their original giant form they use of a special item, most commonly referred to as a "transformation item (変身アイテム Henshin Item)". Their Ultra peoples counterpart is Ultra peoples who lives in planet M78. M78 Ultra peoples spent most of their times in their giant humanoid/Ultra forms and are implied to be born as such. 4. The other Ultra planet was Planet L77, it was a planet in the Leo Constellation. It was the home of Ultraman Leo and Ultraman Astra. Something that doesn’t come across from these transformation clips, the common way for the Showa era Riders to get their belts is to be humans who were kidnapped by the villains and augmented into cyborgs, but then through one reason or another they escape before being brainwashed, so the belt is a part of their body as opposed to being a separate device that’s strapped on. Also, as you might’ve suspected, Ichigo was originally just called Kamen Rider before Nigo and the other Riders came along. Additionally, if you didn’t already know, , Ichigo and Nigo are named after the Japanese terms for the numbers 1 and 2 respectively, essentially making them Kamen Riders 1 and 2 (aka the “Double Riders”)
