Selkirk Invikta Power Air Review | Honest first impressions of the paddle
I regularly play pickleball at an indoor tennis facility with an outdoor surface. Balls used are the Franklin X-40. My outdoor play in also on a tennis surface.
Yeah, you definitely can use indoor balls on an outdoor surface. You usually don't see it the other way around though. The outdoor balls are too hard and don't get enough traction for indoor courts.
i like this brand its honestly healthier than like Bigs think about this a pack of Bigs (depending on the flavor has roughly 4,000mg of sodium on average some flavors more some flavors less now with its around 500mg big difference also good video I like the review
That is a wild difference, thanks for pointing that out! Appreciate the kind words, wish you the best!
After a year, is this still your paddle or did you switch?
Still my paddle, and I love it! I am pretty casual player in the spring and summer and play usually once a week. Some people that play a ton say that the gritty texture in the paddle starts to ware down and it doesn’t spin as much, but for me it has held up great, and I’m onto year 3 with it.
Day 1 of the same thing reversed: pauses between words are the devil in YT shorts, make sure that you remove them while editing.
Appreciate the comment
Great video!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I will take a bogey any day of the week😂

Appreciate the engagement my friend🙏🏽
That first practice swing was deadly thoughh
For real! Then you stand over the ball too long and top it 😂😂
@@Carlos1Silva I completely cut my practice swings out on anything outside of 100 yards. Grip it and rip it!
@@chANTler412interesting, I don’t think I’ve ever played with someone with no practice swings. Do you just step up to every ball and just hit it without visualizing it first?
@Carlos1Silva pick my line. Address the ball. And swing. Don't get me wrong. On short shots I practice my swing. On putts I practice as well. Just anything outside of that I don't. Unless it's my first drive of the day. I've hit more fairways this year doing that than the past 3 years.
@chANTler412 Makes sense, less time to overthink and just step up and hit with confidence. I like it, might have to give it a try this next year. Where are you based / play most of your golf?
I just got fit for these. Super excited
@@sswany_ That’s awesome! Let me know what you think of them once you get some reps in with them. I am super happy with them, hope you will be as well!
Would someone be able to change the gear ratio so that I do get some resistance when pedaling? One thing I love of my ebike is that i am exercising when I use it
I have heard that people have changed the chain on the bike, but not too sure. You could get exercise in pedal assist 1 or 2, but for me personally it’s more of a joy ride or fast commuter. I just think there are much better fits if you’re looking to get a bike that is meant for exercise.
You could switch to a bigger chainring, but if you're looking to pedal this is probably not the bike for you.
Thankyou for the video Carlos. I'm about to pull the trigger on this. How do you think it would be for a long 30 degree hill for a 230lb guy. Do you think it would be comfortable enough for long rides to work? Appreciate you man!!
Make sure to use the link in the description, that would really help the channel. I think it has enough power to get you up the hill, and how long is your commute?
@@Carlos1Silva 30 miles. Thanks!
@David-vz5mv 60 miles total might be a bit of a stretch. I know some people go for the double battery setup to get the extra range.
I'm 250 pounds and it runs great especially on up hill. As for long rides I recommend getting a dual battery setup.
Thank you for the input!
I love Callaway preowned I got my set of Ping i230’s for sub $600 off there!

I’m glad you caught it😂 It’s been stuck in my head recently
O think thay did , if I had older go pro and the parts are compatible I would stay with gopro but now the new gopro doesn't fit ? Why stay with gopro unless it's still a better camera
I totally agree, the other brands have some really compelling cameras that compete with the Hero 13. I just don’t get why they did it, the batteries are literally the exact same size but they changed where the connectors are. The same story goes for the lenses as well, same size but they changed how they connect. Seems like a money move to me.
Technology is so sick🔥🔥
I totally agree, I feel like every few months, there is something crazy that comes out. Humans make a lot of dumb mistakes, but we also invent some pretty sweet stuff haha
Cool
Thank you Arko!
SPECS?
@@theultimatedude-q4n I am about to record a full video going into all the specs and giving my in depth option of the bike. Stay tuned!
I have had it for a bout 4 months and I love it. Actually just threw a 72V upgrade on it today.
That’s awesome, I have had mine for only a month, but I already love it. How difficult was it to throw in the 72v?
@@Carlos1Silva The hardest part is getting everything to line up on the wheel. I had to get spacers and grind some things down a bit.
That makes sense, I feel like that is my 1 major gripe with the bike. There is just too much wiggle room with the front tire install for things to rub against each other. But that is good to know, I will keep that in mind if I keep having issues with it.
I will love an ebike with this specs: - The Revv1 Frame and Storage. - The Billy GOAT Speed and Tires. - The Ghostcat Suspension andTorque. And all that at 2K max.
@@xanderxander08 maybe if E bikes got as big as they are now like 10 years ago we could’ve had something like that. But with the current cost of goods that would be really hard to come across. Maybe at they improve and can get manufacturing cost down we me see something like that the 2K price range🤞🏽
@@Carlos1Silva I agree man, at least we can say that this market is growing, so I really hope good competition for the near future, and lets see together what happens. Peace bro.
@xanderxander08 I agree, I think healthy competition will put some of the early brands to either improve their products or adjust their prices. Appreciate you supporting the channel🙏🏽
Totally agreed! Revv1 FS Frame is by far the most beautiful. Goat Bikes wattage, voltage, and controller amps are powerful and some of the best bang for your buck out of the box performance, and yes, the Ghostcat has the best suspension (able to test ride one at Electrify Expo earlier this year).
@@gcdplz My brother! lets hope a bike like this comes in the near future. I own a Ghostcat F2, I love my bike, but you can appreciatte what it has and what other bikes has. Lets hope for the best in this market.

I tried the cinnamon and tasted like pure cinnamon by itself and didn’t like them thought they would be good
I agree, it was underwhelming. I had really high expectations and it fell short for me.
@@Carlos1Silva yeah same bro I was so excited to try it for it to not be good and I tired their new ranch flavor didn’t like it either and the cheddar jalapeño and I was ok also the garlic parmesan and the garlic over powers everything the only one I’ve liked would be the backyard bbq but it’s understandable there starting out they’ll just keep on improving.
@@bobgomez1404 For sure, I was a big fan of the backyard BBQ. I also enjoyed the garlic parm, but I was curious about that, I was curious about the possibility of them refining the flavors they already have. We will have to wait and see.

nice video. the grip on the vapor 16 is horrible. and the boots are always dirty. I stick with the vapor 15. And the Lockdown is unbeatable. Ready Pack for FG and Lemonade for SG 🤝😍
Yeah, I'm glad I went with the Super Fly 9's. I am a huge fan of them, and I was not a big fan of the Luna 2's with the gripknit upper, so I probably would not be a fan of the new mercurials. Thank you for supporting the channel!
I find that the yellow balls can be difficult to see when there is any strong glare, especially in a high contrast on the court.
I agree with you Roy, I think it’s helpful to have a couple colors of the same ball if you play on different courts frequently. I have yellow, orange, blue, green, pink you name it haha. Each ball has its place for sure!
go0od video quality and that , but did you ate them with shells -ä?
@@wrax6951 I did, i just cut those parts out so you didn’t have to watch me spitting out the shells haha
Great review, thank you.
Thank you Damian, I appreciate the kind words!
Check your sim. I play 245’s at retail loft (30° 7 iron) and swing it at 102ish mph. I have yet to see a ball carry more than 210 yds at 2600 ft of elevation. Or are you playing in Denver? Or on the moon maybe? Also, they’re not foam injected, they’re truly hollow and the sound is the best hollow body on the market
I was hitting them on a GC quad, and we are at 4700 feet elevation here in Utah. So I’m going to get a lot more carry than you are.
And if I said 210 carry I misspoke, it rolled like 210-215.
which do you think it’s better rising gem or the safari pack
I am a fan of the Rising Gem pack, I didn't love the Safari one too much. Which one do you like?
@@Carlos1Silva i also like the rising gem pack but the ambition pack it’s just 🔥
@marocccosta yeah, I am a fan of the ambition pack, especially the phantom GX 2
Great review. Does the bag have a full-length club separation?
Yes! Full-length dividers are included in the bag.
I just got the 7 thru gap a few months back and love them. I am much older with a slow swing speed, so I also got the Mizuno hybrids 3 thru 6. ST max. great set for me
That’s awesome Bruce, I’m glad you’re liking them. I’m very pleased with my set as well.
"over all presentation" "over all presentation" "over all presentation" "over all presentation" for 2 and a half mins straight, holy hell dude move on.
Are you okay? lol
Your video made me want one, hit my luckiest FB marketplace score ever this past weekend and found one basically unused for $60
That is insane! Good for you man, you're going to love it. It's such a good bag!
Weakened the heeck out of these. That definitely changes the interaction with the turf and bounce they are designed for considerably. You’d prolly like p-770s. Traditional loft and still hollow club. This club is designed to launch high to account for the stronger lofts
If only I had another free trade in I would consider it haha, but I love the way these irons feel. I have been super happy with the turf interaction and the way they play.
@@Carlos1Silva all that matters man!
Is the super fly 9 mad ready lemonade /black? The same color as yellow/black?
I believe they are the same, these ones are the lemonade and black. I don’t believe there is a yellow/black color way.
Should have gone gap to 6 iron and leave lofts alone
Then I wouldn't have a 5 iron. How about this you buy me the gap wedge and I'll throw it in the bad and get things bent back just for you lol
@@Carlos1Silva it’s because these clubs are literally a club length different in lofts so your 6 iron is a 5 iron at standard settings basically. I just got 243s coming from JPX900 forged (loved those irons) and these 245s would be ideal for me if not for the strength in lofts so I stretched myself into 243s. Both of these irons (anything MP) is impressive to be fit into after just 3 years of golfing though man (forgiving or not the blade length is not very big). The other interesting thing about your fitting is if your swinging so fast that distance is a non issue im surprised they didn’t put you in heavier XS shafts… 7 iron 200 yards just simply equates to a fast swing speed in which case most fitters are going to go 120g shaft and likely XS. Between that and them telling you to bend them 4 degrees I would get a second opinion personally BUT no one can tell you what works. Swing your swing and what makes you feel good out there and go low baby!
@@nsartin23 For sure, these fittings are super casual and at some point, I would love to do a fitting where they are really diving into the numbers. Because the going week was something that I decided to do, it wasn't them who brought it up. So maybe if I got a second opinion I could walk away with something I like even more, but I am happy with them and might revisit my irons in a few years. I feel like there is always something that can be tweaked, but for now, I am happy with where they are. First time in my golf journey that I have actually been excited to hit my irons, so I will stick with them for now.
Brilliant review 👍🏼
You’re awesome Mason, I appreciate the kind words!

Outdoors we play with Franklins in the summer and Onix in the winter. The softer Onix won’t crack as easily in cold weather but they are way too soft for hot weather
That makes a lot of sense, I appreciate the input. I will keep that in mind this fall when it gets a bit colder.
good review, although i do not think you should break them in in soaking them in water. it damages the glue and when the shoes are new you wouldnt notice it a lot but the glue will actually last way shorter and the sole will seperate faster
Thank you! I totally get where you're coming from, I guess I could've explained that a bit better. I didn't just leave the cleats in water for 10 minutes, I would just dip them in and walk around in them with the material dampened up so it was more malleable. But I totally get that it could impact the lifespan of the cleats. Maybe in the future I will give an update if I see that starting to happen. Thank you for engaging with the channel, I really appreciate it!
What about Har-true clay court??
@@joycebeekman8607 honestly I have played quite a bit of pickleball here in Utah and have never played in har-tru, to be honest I’ve never even see one of those courts in my life haha. So I am not a source of information when it comes to to har-tru lol
@@Carlos1Silva well they suck.
@joycebeekman8607 glad I haven’t encountered one then haha
Wow, you bent those very weak. The offset (squeezed out) and bounce would be a concern going 4 degrees weak...
Right, at first I was hesitant to go that weak but it has been super solid for me. About 90% of my shots still end up on the left side of my target line, so I don't struggle to get the landing left of my target line. So overall I have been pretty happy with them. I have a pretty steep swing which I have been working on, so maybe as my swing gets more shallow I will run into more turf interaction issues and re-evaluate. But for now, I am super happy with it.
nice video 😊
Thank you, I appreciate it Ash!
is there any reason other than nike can js say “f u” with why the prices are outrages for cleats in general
I think the prices are pretty wild for most brands in their premium cleats, which I think is pretty odd because I feel like cleats use less material and are pretty simple in design. But who knows, maybe there is way more R&D than I think.
@@Carlos1Silva yea it’s crazy n just unfair i have to wait till they go on sale before i even think about purchasing them
I totally get it, they are not cheap at all! I have heard the pro models are still really good cleats, that are at a price point that makes a lot more sense for majority of people.
