I just picked up a 1998 540IM sport it’s got a wire hanging out of what looks like the valve cover gaskets I think it’s a ground wire not sure but when I put the battery in the car, it’s fully charged all the lights turn on, but nothing happensany ideas?

I have a 328 I BMW 2011 and I’ve got everything off. There’s a bracket on the end facing the tail lights. I got that off and it’s still not coming out. Is there another bracket I can’t see? Or is there only one bracket or is there more than one bracket

You need to RESET the ecu when a new battery is fitted. With BMW the ecu adapts the charge as the battery ages, if the ecu isn't reset your new battery will die alot quicker!

The reason he doesn't like the 1 series is unfounded to me. It was developed to make owning a BMW affordable for those that normally couldn't. So, it's not going to have all the bells and whistles the other series has! You get the BMW motor and drive experience for less! That was the concept behind the development of the 1 series. If you want more in a BMW, then you have to spend more for a higher series.

I have a “Service Engine Soon” light on a BMW X3 2005. Is it true you can disconnect the negative from the battery for 60 seconds,it will reset the light?

This poor boy should have had a father figure that taught him the basics of an Oil & Filter change. He's obviously doing his best but losing Oil plug, spilling oil all over, using water bottle as funnel, and over torquing Oil plug are all no-no's. I got what I needed from this video but hope he improves his procedure as he matures.

Awesome man! I couldn't get the electrical module off the positive, for some reason it was stuck. I tried releasing the clips either side. Is there anything underneath attaching it to the battery? Cheers!

i had hit a metal plate in the road and it set off my air bag and now my seatbelts dont work, they panels where the seatbelts are kind of popped out, i hear you have to reset the seatbelts or buy new ones not sure. you know anything about that

I’m hoping to god it’s the starter, just removed my old starter, changed sparked plugs and ignition coils and new battery. Just waiting on new starter to be delivered tomorrow so I can install it 🤞…. If it doesn’t start I have no clue what it could be because I pretty much replaced a bunch of shit already. 😢

My e90s battery was replaced about a year ago by previous ownner. I see on the car log was not register any previous replacement, and the battery currently registered is a 90ahm agm while the battery in the trunk is a 95ahm AGm. What would you say i have to do now?

I have a 118i E87 just had a new starter motor put in after my car literally died (dash everything when black) whilst i was driving it. It cranks but wont turn over im thinking it might be the fuse to the fuel pump since the mechanic told me they had to put fuel straight into the motor to start it but they also told me they think its the immobilizer. Would you know which fuse it would be. (I'm Australian if that counts)

Used to have the same one in 2014 but coupe 128 sport package. Loved it. Regret I sold it. Later at 2017 I got 230i cabriolet and I still have it I love it! My dad still keep his 128i 2010 but it is manual transmission and this car is just so powerful.
