sir. wps-zotero is 32-bit but my python version is 64-bit. How can i fix that ? OSError: [WinError 193] %1 is not a valid Win32 application
The error message you're encountering typically occurs when there is a mismatch between the architecture (32-bit vs 64-bit) of the Python environment and the libraries or applications you're trying to use (in your case, the WPS-Zotero plugin). Here’s some potential ways to resolve the issue: Option 1: Use a 32-bit version of Python If the WPS-Zotero plugin is 32-bit, you'll need to match your Python version to that. You can install the 32-bit version of Python and then recreate your virtual environment or reinstall necessary packages to avoid architecture mismatches. Steps: Uninstall your current Python version or install a separate 32-bit version of Python alongside your current one. Download the 32-bit version of Python from the official Python website. Install it and ensure it is set as the default version (or you can specify the path when running your scripts). Reinstall your required packages for this 32-bit Python environment. Option 2: Use a virtual environment If you're able to maintain separate environments, you can create a virtual environment for the 32-bit Python and run WPS-Zotero there while keeping your other setups intact for 64-bit Python tasks. # Create a 32-bit virtual environment (ensure you're using a 32-bit Python interpreter) python -m venv env32 # Activate the environment source env32/bin/activate # On Linux/macOS env32\Scripts\activate # On Windows # Then, install your dependencies pip install some-package This allows you to keep both versions of Python for different use cases. Option 3: mail the wps support for zotero plugin. Their offical mail addriess is: wps@wps.cn wps_linux@wps.cn
how to get better reading outcome, check out this video!

Thank you very much Dr. Lin for this fantastic introduction! I am having trouble with the very last practical step of using the plugin to reference authors in Notion. After I synced my data bases to include all my references from Zotero in Notion, how do I actually use the in-text-citation function to reference authors in the typical short author-date-format in Notion? Using the "/" symbol, I cannot find any way of integration a reference. In minute 32:33, you execute this step but it's so fast that I am not quite sure what it being done. Thank you again for your wonderful content, I would be deeply appreciative if you were able to point me in the right direction. Many greetings from Heidelberg
I have the same issue. Would you please let me know if you figured it out?
hey, sorry for the late reply. I did not see comments coming. Anyway, if your configuration followed my tutorial above,, and your notion has pulled in the zotero records. on any page in notion, you can type @last-name-of-author , the record will be automatically displayed in the popout list, as shown in 32:33 of the video.

How can I download the information containing the publication dates of the articles and other information?
Thank you for your video, it really helped me to sync my database and zotero. But, I've got one problem, the only thing that sincronices is the "name", but the rest of the data base don't. Any suggestions?

The interface of Notion has changed. That is why. On the very same menu where "Share" button rests, please click the "..." button, which displays "Styles, exports, and more..." option. You will see at the bottom of the pop-out menu: Connections -> Add connections. Then you will be able to follow the explanation in this video.

Thank you for this. I'm a California attorney trying to learn the Zettelkasten process. I'm using the old way with paper index cards. But this was very helpful to see your Evernote file.
Hi Rick, I am glad that it helped your zettelkasten process.
Hi! This was very help for understanding workflows. Have you ever heard of or used the Notero plug it that automatically sync from Zotero to Notion?
I found this really helpful, thank you :)
Hello! Very helpful videos! I saw that in your previous workflows, you used the Slip Box Method with Evernote. Did you completely move to Notion for all your note taking?
And have you experimented with Obsidian?
Hello, how do you make excel? Are they the literature list exported from Zotero?
did you find any tips for highlighting in different colors?
I'm from Indonesia, and thanks for the tutorial. That help me to resolve my problem
Happy to help
same! cheers
Can I sync my annotations without copy and paste? I highlight some PDF files and add comments. Can I Sync that automatically from Zotero to Notion?
Hi Fahad, did you find any solution to do so ? Thank you
@@douaabenhaddouche7502 no
i want to know that
from what i know, you can export zotero notes to plain text. then you can copy them manually to Notion. Other than that, I am not aware of a automatic synchronization method yet.
This is fantastic, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this information. Is there a way I could automatically update my Notion database after I deleted some files in Zotero?
Do you mean synchronizing files stored in zotero with the notion environment?
with the new zotero it is possible to save notes in the item and access them from anywhere via the internet. It's better than citavi and I believe it eliminates the need for a third tool like Notion. Unless a new database is desired.
Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thanks for making this video, I have few doubts, let's say 1) If I'm sharing an image, video to fellow colleagues. How do they got to know if the image is CC licensed. 2) I had downloaded an image, video or article from internet. How do I check if that media is CC licensed. 3) What if someone took my work and created a license by their name. What should I do? 4) Do CC license has any validity? 5) Is there's any alternative to CC? 6) Can we license software's under CC?
