There was one that's was longer and higher than that one, it was called the Brushy Creek Trestle near Hackleburg, Alabama, it was 180 feet high, and longer than that one, it was taken down in 1996, after a teen boy fell off it
Shame they took it down i guess one day they will pull this one down
Almost hard to believe a train went over that 36 years ago
It would of been good to see one back then going over it
I got some good drone footage of that area last year, looks to have degraded a tiny bit since then. Mate of mine has property on top of the hill, took my 8x8 down the hill: ua-cam.com/video/LHGeHWBBS8c/v-deo.html
Hi there is talk that they might do a bit of of work on the bridge so push bikes can go over it. 8x8 sounds interesting. Have a good day
@@robwhitingstravels2264 from the look of things, tgey have just diverted the trail around the bridge. I infer from that, pedestrian access to bridge probably wont be allowed again.

@@robwhitingstravels2264 Well the Gradiners Creek bridge is long gone, only exists in photos. I was just curious how it would have compared.
They should restore this railroad where it can stand for many if they restore it they may be able to start using it again
Sad part is there is a lot of railways closed down. I think a lot of them should be reopened but it will never happen. Shouldn't been closed down in the first place.

No i been here for 40 years it's always been called Broulee Island

Lived in Moruya over 30 years ago and it’s all so stunning the south coast!now got a farm near crescent head and some beautiful places to see here👍❤️

Great spot Rob! I went to this spot back in March and did some filming. Seems like it's a hidden gem because if this was closer to Melbourne, everyone would flock to it.
Good footage. Great memories of primary school excursion here back in the ‘80’s. Can’t believe we were allowed to go into one of the mines. Never get away with that today.

My Grandmother's first cousin lived in Darlington Point. :)
Yer i might of known them as i live there myself over 40years ago. Not a bad little town
His name is Herbert Kingdom Rawle. His wife's name is Emily Elizabeth. They lived elsewhere in New South Wales, but must have retired in Darlington Point. He was a ww2 veteran.
