Helicopter Kick is actually less damage and more stamina than Uppercut. It still seems overpowered to have a relatively spammable spread move though. (Especially on Seismunch.) You'd said you'd had success at the Dojo leader rematches which seems fair enough but I would still be tempted to have had multiple competitive squads to choose from. I also knew Saku learned Narcoleptic Hit by level-up but apparently Nidrasil learns it as an egg move from Saku. Don't be surprised that Taifu doesn't have a turn 1 move, after all your Momo doesn't either. I seem to remember there were even some wild Temtem in the game with that problem, but that might since have been fixed. Leech is actually a Status technique and doesn't deal damage in the normal way, but Rush, Depress and Dim Mak deal fixed amounts of damage, ignoring such things as type effectiveness and boosts. (Depress and Dim Mak and Leech explicitly state that they won't wake an Asleep Temtem, although Leech is already a Status technique, so I wouldn't have expected it to.) Nalla's Vulffy had the Handcuffs, which adds Trapping to any attack that inflicts Exhausted or against a Temtem that is already Exhausted. (Dying Light 2 isn't my cup of tea, so I won't be watching. Sorry about that.)

Wow, KR really thought Max was unworthy! Watching you getting lost or struggling to remember that the snake was a Megazizare is isn't boring, honest! You do have to visit MyrEng as part of obtaining your own house. It also has its own side quest. As you discovered later, Radars help you find Lumas; they increases your odds by about 5× on average. (But it's still only about one in every 5 Radars.) That star in the empty room looks like it was showing the next step in the Archtamers quest even though you haven't completed the subquests yet but I guess it was just glitched as it fixed itself. Nice Synergy with Piezoelectric Blow! Well, at least the DigiLair is a co-op post-game activity. You finally spoke to Naoko! I was wondering when you would get around to it; you passed him enough times. I can't remember for sure but I think your two Revals had different Traits. I think that place you stumbled into is where you can rename your Temtem. Blizzard's Priority is only > which is why it went last. You didn't see a ? at the Prancing Minox Inn because there's another quest there which you haven't started.

Carlos and Dr. Sasaya are engaged, so I wasn't surprised to find him in her office. He does love those nicknames though - first Addy, now Sassy! Apparently there's less dialogue in Speedrun mode. The third mode is Randomizer mode, like Nuzlocke mode but all Temtem are randomised and their moves are also random. Items are also random, including stickers (which aren't collectable, although you can start the side quest to get those juicy random consumables). I imagine Osukai, Vulffy, Garyo and Earth Koish will be the most useful to unlock the Earth Shrine, but I would avoid Mudrid, Drakash, Grumper or Vulcrane. The earliest you can successfully use the Cable Car is after you defeat General X, although the earliest you can encounter the Cable Car is shortly after you obtain the Gravitonic Piolets. The Matter-Transfer Drone is a reward from a side quest started in Miyako Village. It has one of the longest quizzes in the game, so make sure you know your way around the first four islands, as it's a geography quiz.

Ooh, you're right, if you look at the sparkles very carefully... I think I caught a glimpse of red at one point. Technically Valiar and Hocus are just rare spawns in the main Braeside Castle hall; they are more common in the scientists' room. As you can see, Aina is still missing. Interestingly, if you had found Aina before completing the main story, then although she would have gone along with Max's prank, she vanishes despite saying she'll cook breakfast. As well as tracking down the four Archtamers, there are a few more post-game quests: you can restore your damaged stickers (if you've already found 20 mint stickers, although I don't think you even have the album yet; start in the Thalassian Cliffs); you can obtain a Minox Steed (start at the Prancing Minox Inn in Greenglen Forest in Arbury), you can rebuild the Upinzani bridge (speak to Tihani in the Nanga Dojo in Omninesia), you can discover the Tamer's Paradise. After completing those and any other side quests of your choice, all that is left are the repeatable activites: FreeTem, Postal Service deliveries, Nuru Lodge fishing, SaiPark, Dojo Leader rematches, the challenges in the Tamer's Paradise (one of which is co-op only!), PvP, and the challenge modes (Speedrun/Nuzlocke/Randomizer).

When you come up against a Mimit, either its Trait is Striking Transmog, and it will hit one of your Temtem and transform into it (and with the latest patch that hit happens before you can even switch) or its Trait is Landing Transmog and it will transform into the Temtem on its left. If it's on the left from your point of view then it will transform into its ally but if it's on the right from your point of view it will transform into your right-hand Temtem. Yes, you're seeing a lot of Digital because that's what Clan Belsoto have been stealing from Nanto Labs... I think you must have skipped the chef and the officer whose laxatives you stole... but not the officer on the receiving end! If you'd been trying to find Aina (completing that side quest before the story changes the post-story cutscene) then Mèrida would have wanted you to return her bow before helping you, but as it is, she does nothing. Kicking is just the standard interaction action, used for item boxes, locked gates, etc. Shaolite is presumably a termite, so a sort of pest, at least while indoors. Knockback is indeed like Take Down, or more like Double Edge, since it's quite powerful but has a lot of recoil. In Randomizer mode I can imagine you'd be quite happy to switch in your co-op partner's Temtem because you have no idea what attacks your opponents are going to throw at you. Yes, Deceit Aura was changed again; instead of starting with 50% HP, you now lose 15% per turn. It's not clear whether this only applies while it reverses the turn order, but it would make more sense that way. Not sure why you didn't use Electric Storm against Piraniant and Tulcan.

Well, you're now officially a Hoarder! Most people buy 99 Temcards first... The Temspotter lets you know if a Temtem has less than maximum fertility, I mean has at least one TV of 49 or 50, without actually having to catch it. You still have to encounter the Temtem in the normal way though. I may have already mentioned that the Tucma Mask was buffed a couple of months ago to reduce the number of turns of Poisoned by 1. This turns out to be very beneficial when fighting Cycrox, as Wastewater only normally inflicts one turn of Poisoned, so Neurotoxins fails to activate if you can prevent that. (If you're actively hunting Cycrox to catch, you'd probably want to use the Talisman instead, as it protects your whole team.) There are five moves with *>>> Priority which means they go before a switch. Mimit's DNA Extraction was recently buffed; Darkness inflicts Isolated; Cage traps everyone, Untangle untraps its target. These moves also go before throwing a Temcard. This is useful when catching Saipat in Deniz as Rush does almost enough damage to get them to 100% catch rate with a Temcard (actual chance depends on its HP SV). Rush also overexerts the user, but that's not a problem if you're just there to catch Saipat. In theory if you miss you can then use Cage on turn 2 to guarantee the catch. Well, at least one of you had the presence of mind to use your Temessence Phial before the cutscene... You were thinking of the Rock Shield, but in fact Zizare's Iron Coating just boosts its Earth type attacks. Did you recognise any of the Belsoto from Telebos? I only recognised the Untidy Officer from whose room you stole the Potent Laxatives. Valash is actually Crystal/Neutral type, so it does get STAB on Held Anger. Very few Digital types are actually 4× weak to Water; maybe you were thinking of Loatle which is 4× weak to Electric?

I also always forget about Techniques with Hold; in this case Nidrasil couldn't use its Nature type attack on turns 1 or 3 and had to use a Toxic move instead. On the other hand, you did remember about Gyalis, which can only use Drill Impact on turn 1. In case you clicked through his dialogue too quickly, Two-Eyed Matthias is "One-Eyed" Matthew's brother, and reveals that there's nothing wrong with Matthew's eye, he just likes cosplaying. Heh, Domenico's Wiplump also knows an Awful Song! (Tucma is where you picked up TC008.) The area where you found the Vital Durian after your game broke is also the only place to find wild Smazee (5%).

Venx's evolution actually depends on its Trait, so technically it's the only Temtem whose Trait never changes when it evolves. Digital's 2× effective against Mental (and also Melee and Digital). There are a couple of places where you could have picked up a Learning Aid. But hey, you did learn how a learning aid works! I didn't expect Piraniant to take out Seismunch; I was already distracted trying to calculate whether Seismunch's Wreck would have taken out Myx and got surprised to find that Uppercut sufficed. Contagious used to inflict two turns of Poisoned during Early Access but it was nerfed before the full release. Compare Aohi's Warm Gift which inflicts three turns of Burned if you switch out. The game glitched the display of the status when Nidrasil used Toxic Ink on Anatan. What's supposed to happen is that Toxic Ink inflicts Poisoned, then Tri-Phytologist inflicts Exhausted, then Self-Clear inflicts Regenerating, pushing off Poisoned. But if you watch carefully, the status appears briefly 46:24 as Regenerating/Exhausted, then 46:25 shows Exhausted/Poisoned, then 46:30 finishes correctly with Regenerating/Exhausted. Nice prediction that Zaobian would become 4× weak to Electric. Unfortunately the key doesn't open the castle portcullis, only the cells in the dungeon. Lady Lottie's dialogue did mention a secret entrance...

I'm glad we finally get to see Nagaise's Fury in action! The catch rate does depend on the Temtem's health; it's about 4× better when the target is on 1HP. No type naturally resists Digital. Normally Mental, Melee and Digital are all weak to Digital but that can be inverted either if the attacker is a Pigment Inverter Chromeon or the defender is an Iridescent Koish. (If a Pigment Inverter Chromeon attacks an Iridescent Koish then the two inversions cancel out.) Cerneaf has the sixth highest base HP in the game, just below Saipat. I looked to see if I could find some useful (for some definition of useful) courses for your squads; the only one I could find was TC041 which Nessla learns but you can't obtain it yet. Some useful courses for other Temtem include TC042 which needs you to find Aina (which you can't do yet), TC036 is in Cipanku (talk to one of the pilgrims at the Sacred Lake, then with the High Priest, then it's through one of the gates in the Sacred Lake), and TC028 is in Kisiwa (take the cable car from the Nuru Lodge and find a quest NPC next to a bonfire).

Volarend is normally slightly faster than Saipat but Nicho Sai has >>> Priority, like Water Blade. If you're already playing version 1.3 (which is a shame, because the tournament music is still broken), Toxic Skin now also triggers on all attacks but for only one turn of Poisoned.
