Anyone who knows anything about Jiu Jitsu knows about Ralph, and Kurt. The aspect, invisible (like Rickson says), is the ability to concentrate your energy into the smallest area while being free and fluid everywhere else. That first pass, to that knee on belly is pure devastating Jiu Jitsu power… and that’s just the beginning. The more I train, the more I grow to love the efficiencies inherent in “classic” BJJ… just as Carlos and Helio intended.
I went to his seminar. I am a black belt over 220lbs. Ralph was showing technique, he put me in side control, I never felt that much of pressure. He is at another level. It was my first time meeting him. He looks so intimidating, when you see him. He is not a big guy. When you start talking to him, the nicest person ever!!!!
Badass overall. But notice at the end, Budo Jake did not even bow and say thank you, it was Prof Ralph that put his hand out first and said “thank you for the training”. True martial artist
I'm very certain it's not because he didn't want to bow or was ingrateful. It's very simply because he didn't know when the round ends. When you're rolling with Ralph, he ignores the clock and ends the round when HE decides to (unless the partner says something or becomes injured, etc). Source: I'm his student.
because its about defeating every other martial arts style. not about being entertaining. any other style can be neutralized, controlled, and either strangled or crippled via joint lock. in real life it doesnt look like a movie.
In the Gi, Roger beats anyone. No gi I'd love to see him and Gordon Ryan fight. Only way Gordon wins is via a leglock. Roger is just such a beast jesus.
I want to see Roger and Rickson roll, before Rickson gets too old. This is the perfect time. Roger is almost 40, and Rickson is a super in-shape 60 year old. In terms of being technical...I think that would be a wonderous spectacle
@@CaptHandsome42 Rickson is unable to roll competitively at his age. His body has been through too much and he is too old. Roger is huge, powerful and near Godly on the mat even at 40. I'm afraid the only roll they will have is a friendly and respectful light roll. Rickson has nothing more to prove and neither does Roger. Rickson will only get hurt if they go at it fully.
Nate is always pulling that bullshit tackle on every fight! He did the same thing on me when I fought him. He won the fight because it was my first pro fight and I was green. I waved his extra pounds on the weigh in with the people in charge because he's fat ass didn't make weight. For a dude on steroids he didn't do damage on me at all. I think I had like scratches from the globs. Lol Good job Jara 👏 you a good dude. I met you once at the Redhawk casino when I fought nate. Stay well brother! 🙏
The guy is a thug and a criminal.
I watch this once a year to remind myself why I started Jiu-jitsu. Ralph Gracie style, simple, aggressive, technical.
Hi
Anyone who knows anything about Jiu Jitsu knows about Ralph, and Kurt. bs. you only got 10 seconds to do all that before you sleep.
Can someone explain?
🎯
a commentary would be interesting. I don't get what he did.
wow i think he destroyed his pp and balls wow , so this is jiu jutsu, what a ghey sport wtf
Every now and then, I come back and watch this masterclass display of the basics honed to the highest level.
Its good but in ufc it would be submission its to low
it is just annoying to see people "showcasing" their skills against opponents that weigh 10-20 pounds less than them.
You sound like you suck.
awesome attack! :)
He the nicest meanset guy 😂😂😂 lov Ralph was underated as a fighter
Casual armbar at 1.10, the guy hes sparring is probably a rookie
Roger Gracie...o Pelé do jiu-jitsu.
great👍
1:09 the way Master Ralph baits that arm bar. Wow
What an awesome fight! Two warriors getting after it. Technical, active. Very fun to watch

He literally uses, sets up, predicts, and creates the other wrestlers moves. THE BEST.
:-(
“Why ignore 50% of the human body?” Maaan I can’t wait to learn the system.
wow i think he destroyed his pp and balls wow , so this is jiu jutsu, what a ghey sport wtf
Dude has his chin not his neck
There are people who have a neck as strong as a rock they can bear
The Master at work….miss the pain
thank you for sharing these.
A Máster Grappler! " Ralph Gracie"!!!
No way. Way too long to get to that point. You would be out cold in seconds.
I mean he wasn't.
What do you mean "would"? This is live rolling footage. There is no hypothetical here. What you witnessed in this video is the "would".
That is some intense pressure from Ralph
Esse rapaz não tem nível de Marron!
esse rolamento pra sair da chave de braco meu deus do ceu.

No sound. Genius. Pure genius. Move over Guy Ritchie.

Why is jiu-jitsu so boring to watch?
because its about defeating every other martial arts style. not about being entertaining. any other style can be neutralized, controlled, and either strangled or crippled via joint lock. in real life it doesnt look like a movie.
I think its one of those where once you can understand whats happening it becomes interesting, but yes it is geeky. Just embrace the geek.
Ralph is a beast.
I’m impressed
Rio Linda, Ca!
Can you post the whole match?

1:04 masterpiece
A pair of 🐐
My bucket list has training with both these guys! I’m short round and old, so their games are just like mine!
The guys barely trying because if he goes hard he'll probably get elbowed in the face
Welcome to prison Ralph!
a lot of blue belts are going to emerge out of that jail by the end of his 6 month sentence lol .... combate (combach)
Jake suffers from SOFT. Fake brown belt
