Honestly this anime was sooo boring and crappy. It just was all about Iris I've kept watching it. xD So cute and innocent, not knowing the difference of her and the rest of the world.
I just love the fact that writters always show how adorable Iris can be as a dragon despite of giving her cool and badass dragon design. Examples: 1. Chapter 79. Iris vs Sea Dragon. Iris transforms, prepared for fight, and ... jumps into a water and just being cute some pages straight (Iris is a great swimmer in a dragon form). 2. Chapter 81. Iris transforms in order to pull a large piece of a cliff (3 times of her dragon form size) out of water. Iris holds in horisontally first and fails to pull it out. Then Iris decides to ... kick it like a soccer ball until it reaches surface (yes, Iris plays football. In her ... dragon form). In other words, Iris as a dragon is even more weirdo than when she is in a human form.
@kunik61 but in my opinion in her dragon form she is just much more like how a typical animal acts, ok besides she bein smart and understand like a human. Also animals are in general actually good swimmers, no matter if Dog (wolf/fox), a horse, even water shy cats or otger wild animals.

Yes, you have got it right. Iris is as good in swimming as a fish. In her ... yes, DRAGON form. Chapter 81. A team goes for underwater rocks so Lurie (a crafter) could collect materials from them. Rocks are big even after being broken, so Iris as physically the strongest team member transforms. Iris fails to lift a rock horisontally so she ... starts playing football with it so a rock would be kicked out of water. Iris' dragon form is a cutie pie.

Dragon girls are the best. Velzard, Velgrynd, Milim, Tio, Tomoe, Tania, Tohru and her friends, Lastimoon and Hakuren, Laika and of course best girl of them all Patroshe.
Milim doesn't have a sragon form though (other mentioned dragon girls does). My fav is Veil from Let's Buy and Cultivate the land in another world. You expect a loli to look like Toothless or an another cute cartoonish dragon in her true form, but nope - it is a F*CKING ARMORED BRUTAL YUGIOH-STYLED DRAGON ON STEROIDS!!!
Awaiting for Veil, Sorahime, Misha, Quiqantiel, Karma, Lefi (from manga and manhwa series witjout anime adaption yet).
Also I love game ones - Mym and Mercury from Dragalia Lost (their Primal forms precisely, where their badassery and majesty goes on the highest level).
@@kunik61 she's still a dragonoid, thus a dragon girl. You don't have to be able to turn into a dragon to be a dragon girl. Plus her battle form has dragon features.

@@kunik61 No they don't? and even when they do most sound like actual boys, this is a clear example of who ever casted the VA being ignorant. good examples of women being casted as dudes are Naruto, Conan (detective), Luffy, Ash Ketchum, Shinji, Armin, and a whole bunch of others. Maybe fire whoever casted these roles? but I mean this show was always meant to be bottom of the barrel generic isekai trash so i guess they couldn't be bothered to try even a little.
I hope the spin-off would have its own anime adaptation.

I'm kinda sad, they made too different from the manga.... Don't get me wrong but the manga is more better speaking through a manga reader. Iris VA, did very well, capturing her personality. MC Va.... I would say, that he sound too childish, I was kinda hoping he sound more different then all anime I watch, Im not going lie I heard this Va too much...
Personally d9 prefer her dragon form from a manga. Anime dragon Kris is great, too, but manga one makes her look more unique.

It would've been a much better show if the demon plot had been resolved by episode 5, and the rest spent on her being taught how to fit into human society because (insert your favourite reason here).

I gotta admit_ in the dimensional realms of anime there's an abundance of outstanding loli characters but for me Iris is my Loli Queen! Her creators did a magnificent job with her character to the extent they turned 'donkey dumb' into a 'fine art' & Iris pulled it off magnificently_ she's an outstanding masterpiece_
1. I love her as a dragon at first place. Her design is unique (but still she looks as how dragons supposed to look alike, and I don’t care that she has 2 legs instead of 4) and she feels like a sort of a Pokémon-like creature. In a dragon form, she looks pretty badass, at same time she can be adorable as heck (her facial expression in a dragon form are priceless). Iris herself is already a great character because of being cute and hilarious, but her being a dragon, especially in a world where every single monster and demon (except for Iris) is being a target for slaughter makes Iris being even better. 2. Iris is not an idiot actually. For example, in chapter 81 she had to pull a large reef from sea and she did … play football with it (in a DRAGON form) so it would be in a vertical position and she could pull it out (a reef itself is 3 times bigger than Iris in her true form).
