The Bishop Street Stand is being refurbished. It's been out of action for decades. It should be ready by the end of the season.

The left side (Bishop street) was condemned decades ago. We have had some tough times, like bad owners...falling out of the league etc. The current owners said if we got promoted they would renovate that stand, which is what is happening now. My first ever game (1993-4) was in that stand.

Mansfield is not the oldest ground in the world. That belings to Sheffield fc. Mansfield is the oldest professional football ground in the world.

Tell you what, as a Lincoln fan.. This is a fantastic vlog! Good to see away teams bring an atmosphere to the ground for once. Especially liked the chap behind you for the Swedish chap.. Couple of pointers though.. One you should know, they were geese.. The other, the stand to the left(half stand) was built quickly after the Valley Parade fire which we were involved in. The reason it kicked off in the upper was a suspected blues fan was found and 'escorted' out. Cracking game, score the pen and it's a different game imo. Looking forward to the return fixture. UTFI.

Shame that the "proper" club with "proper" fans have taken the 30 pieces of silver and turned into the tourist club that they claim to despise.

We should never get too proud to go to places like Lincoln, if it only reminds us of where we came from, and what absolute pile of crap we were as a club and a team for so many years. THAT team, that I watched on old Spion Kop, would make Lincoln look like Real Madrid today. That's how far we've come. I remember when Swindon did a similar job on us, and it was Blues fans who were fighting each other in the stands. We were up 4-1 at home, and all their then player-manager (Glenn Hoddle) did was step into midfield from sweeper, and they ended up winning 4-6. Never forget!
