I don't use after effects or the program you use but I would recommend adding more sync, also using gradients that are pleasing to the eye, you could get inspiration from stcubing
my stuff is supposed to be more simple and i definitely like stcubing's stuff but yeah i get what you mean this looks really flat and empty but its been a while since i worked on it so maybe when i get back to it ill touch it up

i used adobe animate but alot of people use actual editing programs like after effects i just use animate cause im comfortable with it

the bars on the top and bottom of the screen are so very slightly out of sync with the bpm of the song and it's gonna kill me other than that this is good, i like that it's more simple than what you normally go for
dont worry i noticed this too and absolutely had 0 fix for it id probably have to scale the fps up a bit to get a more precise motion so,,,rrfy
