Is this something you would recommend for a highschool classroom project?

Thank you so much. I found this via a search on how to make wooden logs from polymer clay. It is exactly what I needed. I am working on a rather large highly detailed campfire that will include flickering LED lights wired in. While the logs I need will be quite a bit larger. This tutorial will be perfect. Those are some nice looking sticks. Thanks again.😎

This is the prettiest doll ive seen made with cold porcelain! What glue are you using? Will the basic white glue work well or its some sort of special one?

Hey Rossy, I just found your channel and am impressed of course with your creations. I am currently working with polymer clay and am actively looking for ideas and tricks (quite new to this). May I ask if I could make this but with polymer clay instead of with cold porcelain? I have never used cold porcelain, but it seems to be more flexible than polymer clay and easier to shape finer details (the trees, pinecones etc)..

My first attempt tonight was a total nightmare. Everything went well to begin with. The trouble started when it came away from the sides of the pan perfectly but when i went to knead it, it stuck to the table, and to my hands, and to the spatula that i tried to scrape it off the table with. I came to the conclusion that the centre of the ball was not cooked well enough. There was no going back to the pan because there was only a small ball left. I decided to microwave it and did this in 10 second bursts until it resembled a small loaf of bread. It is no longer sticky. I have it resting now until tomorrow evening. Lets see what happens then. By the way i followed the recipe exactly, even to the point of waiting for the sodiun benzoate to arrive from Amazon.😅

Does it get molds?

Did you also bake it to make it hard?
