This episode had the Halloween theme, but also kept discussed a heavy topic. So many people struggle with mental health issues and addiction! It’s great how much you are doing to support them and helping them see that they are not alone.

This episode of the Remember the Record by the Rapper’s Corner shows so much passion for hiphop as being the voice for the voiceless! They have a tremendous respect for the artist for his powerful lyrics that made them fall in love with hiphop! They also talk about the serious problems that the artist wrote about that are still going on today and need to be stopped! It is a very strong episode!!!

You did an excellent job commemorating and telling how much Chino XL meant to you. His lyrics really cannot be matched I can tell that this was a huge loss to both of you and a huge loss to the hip hop. It’s wonderful that you have those special memories with one of your favorite rappers and it’s incredible that it was exactly a year from when he died.

Definitely, especially if he was directly involved with the production. His stories about his time in Stoney Lodge on his patreon are done very cinematically and are great. Could do a crossover scene about the time he smoked dust with ODB 😂

This episode was amazing!!! The message of wanting to help everybody with depression was so strong!! Also combining Chopin with hiphop was incredible!!! I loved what was said about poetry!! This was such a great episode!!!!

This episode was fantastic!!! Like Johnny Warbux, my first experience with rap was “Gangster’s Paradise”! When I was a lifeguard the other lifeguards used to pay me to perform it! I know they made fun of me but at least I got money. Also in English class we were asked to write a poem about winter. I went to school with Kalashnikov Red and remember his poem. As I walk through the valley of the shadow of snow, I take a look at my life and realize it’s cold.” I loved this episode so much!!’❤

So informative! I've been trying to find Tahir since I heard that song out in the world from Dead Prez and now that you've told me his band name it will be a lot easier. I also had no clue that Kanye had a credit on this album. I've been hooked on Dead Prez since 2004, have a family over every tattoo inspired by them and it's great to see other people still appreciating them and giving them the props they deserve. Came here from the Facebook oddly specific playlist page and now I am a follower for sure

This was such a wonderful episode!! I didn’t know much about Dead Prez but now I’m definitely going to follow them!! They stand up for exactly what I believe in! Fighting for the rights of the oppressed!!! This is music that everybody should hear! You guys did a great job explaining the album! I also liked hearing how inspiring they were for Kalashnikov Red! This was such an incredible episode with how touching it was! I laughed a lot, but I also cried too because of how sincere it was!! It kind of hit close to home. You did a wonderful job appreciating mothers and acknowledging the struggles that mothers and children have just as the song does, and also the fact that this holiday is hard for some people. I loved the part when you shared your connections to the song!! Awesome job guys!!!
