    OMG!! IM SOOO Glad you ladies are discussing allergies today, I have a 3 year old French Bulldog with terrible environmental allergies and literally I have tried everything, I had her on apoquiel for a couple months, but after doing some research I was so upset when I found out what's in them and ALL the serious side effects I vowed to find another way, a more natural way so this was over a year ago and I'm still trying product after product, I'm so tired of buying all these products and getting very little or no relief for my sweet girl Honestly I'll just sit and cry out of the frustration and just the sheer feeling of how I have failed my girl, I know she's miserable and it's so devastating to watch!! She has been on a raw diet of a single protein all her life, I give her a probiotic, organic Colustrum, slippery elm bark,character and relishing mushrooms, salmon oil that has vitamin E in it. Please,please help me!!

    I live in Virginia and it's been extremely hot I don't want my French bulldog on simparica Trio or any of the other pesticides, if it kills fleas and ticks and also heart worms what's it doing to a dogs little body,

    My French bulldog has allergies the vet prescribed Apoquel and I absolutely do not want to give my sweet girl an immunosupressant, she is almost 3 years old, she also lacks the air a lot and burps often, she also will throw up in the mornings, acid reflux and licks her paws and gets red rashes on her chest she mainly breaks out in the summertime so I guess that she has seasonal allergies I've tried everything! I love her so much and hate to see her in pain and distress, what do you recommend for my girl!

    I noticed there's alcohol in the rebalancer and gut seal. Is it safe for cats then?

    • @AdoredBeastApothecary
      @AdoredBeastApothecary 18 днів тому

      The majority of tinctures are made with alcohol. The alcohol in tinctures is crucial for extracting the active ingredients of a herb or homeopathic remedy, as well as stabilizing and preserving them. Alcohol acts as a carrier substance conveying active ingredients within the body. The amount you physically give is minute so unless you’re dealing with an animal that has organ damage, or alcohol sensitivities it’s generally very safe. If you have concerns, you may want to look into herbal products, not tinctures, as you won’t really find many good quality tinctures without alcohol as the base. Here is a blurb from Canine Herbalist, Rita Hogan, that she wrote in regards to another query about alcohol-based tinctures... “I’ve been a dog herbalist for almost 20 years now (just so you know I’m not just saying this randomly) and I can assure you that the amount of alcohol used as a preservative is safe for your dog when used as recommended. There are approx. 1200 drops in, for example, the Jump For JOYnts bottle. The alcohol percentage per drop is minuscule making the serving less than 0.5% alcohol. I would recommend avoiding for dogs with seizures that are sensitive to alcohol as a trigger which I’ve come across in my practice.” Also, because it’s homeopathic, Julie Anne Lee DCH RCSHom, founder and formulator for Adored Beast, recommends you can dilute with water... “Historical standards of practice to deliver homeopathic remedies have always been in an alcohol base. If you’re concerned - use the required amount of pumps into a half glass of water, stir with a spoon, and use 1 teaspoon right away, and it will be equally as effective. How can that possibly be? The reason it’s in an alcohol base is to preserve the efficacy of the remedy, when it’s delivered right away (after being mixed with water) it’s equally as effective.”

    Been on the yeasty beast protocol for almost 2 weeks and it seemed to be working up until about yesterday. She is back to ripping her skin apart 😭 I make her food, no carbs, and started adding some raw food to the mix (thinking about transferring over completely raw if it would make a difference). Please tell me there is something else I can do besides giving her Apoquel.

      I highly suggest Yeasty Beast bc it does work. It took me 1-3 months to see results. So be patient and follow all instructions 🤭 ❤ I had to cut out *all treats* so my cockapoo would eat the medicine in the kit with his food. (Broke my heart). He’s allergic to dairy so i gave him YB-II with all natural sodium and nitrate-free turkey slices with bone broth and crushed up Stella and Chewy bacon weenies. Omg! He’s too much!! Good luck with your doggie. I really do love the Adored Beast products

    Thank you so much for this. The "Wolf" species probiotic helped my little guy so much. I struggle to maintain his gut and skin health. He definitely has yeast all the time and if left unchecked it rapidly overgrows and he also has leaky gut. I wish I asked sooner how I could effectively manage both of his major issues (eg. I can use both protocols at the same time). I feel more confident now that I can help him in a clearly laid out protocol. *Big Hugs* Thank you ❤

      @@jaxQuiXRPhi. He is happy and healthy in remission but suffering from allergies now sadly - but his gut health seems to be stable and healthy. He has such sensitive belly (one misstep and its diarrhea) He was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma march 2023 so i have him on almost all of the Adored Beast probiotics in rotation Last year i started him on Leaky Gut (4 months) then started the Yeasty Beast (it took 6/7 months bc I had a hard time giving him all the products in that kit bc he’s so picky) im starting it again bc it did work. It just took a long time - or i need to keep him on it forever His fur grew back and it reduced the itching and licking so I definitely saw positive results Thank you for asking ❤

    Hi Julie, it's your old friend Natasha from the Canaries. I need your help! My 7 year old cat, Rosy, has been having grand mal seizures and the blood work indicates renal failure. She has always been on my raw food and now my vet is saying to put her high-quality kibble. She won't touch the renal formula dry or moist but will eat the high quality salmon-based kibble. She is sweet, loving cat who always wants to be on my lap or on my bed. Her fits are short but violent and there is no homeopathic vet on Gran Canaria. Can you advise me, please? Foxy, my 18 year old pup hasn't had a fit in 5 years but she has cannabis oil and a Lion's mane mushroom capsule in her breakfast every day. Thanks, darling.

    Just in case someone sees this. Re cats, is whole milk unpasteurized cheese okay? Benefits? I've heard benefits for humans, and milk used to be okay for cats (in dark ages ago, haha). Thanks so much.

    • @AdoredBeastApothecary
      @AdoredBeastApothecary 3 місяці тому

      While cats may enjoy the taste of milk and cheese, it's generally not recommended to feed them dairy products like whole milk or unpasteurized cheese. Most adult cats are lactose intolerant, meaning they lack the enzyme lactase needed to properly digest lactose, the sugar found in milk. Feeding dairy to lactose-intolerant cats can lead to gastrointestinal upset, including diarrhea and vomiting. It's best to stick to cat-friendly treats and foods specifically formulated for their nutritional needs.

    My vet gave me advice to go on a limited ingredient diet after finding nothing in his blood tests/fecal tests along with providing him the results from a food intolerence test- hair sample I did out of desperation knowing it's not 100% accurate. The results showed MANY INTOLERANCES to almost everything that is in pet food, including chicken,beef, some fish and liver, and grains. The vet said we have this information, so let's try it out and see. This food is obviously not good for his gut or enough for him right now because for about 1 month, the cat has had smelly & chronic gas with diareahha, and it started going on his foot. The postive was the blood/mucus at the end of his stool has left, but I could not keep staying home to wait for my cat to go explosive diareahha so i could rush him to the tub so he wouldn't get crap all over my house. I've never ever seen my cat with this much gas when going poop in the 6 years of having my kitty. The vet suggested giving him their "purina probiotic" -JUNK This diet did not go well. The cat hates everything. The week prior , I found a food he actually likes that may cause less symptons. Wellness- salmon in gravies (it is grain free but isn't a limited ingredient diet and still has preseratives), but my cat normally walks away or gets bored of everything. In the mean time the vet referred us to a specialist and first put him on a probitioc as mentioned above^ (did not help, just made him not want to eat his wet food without that stuff sprinkled on top). Then finally, anti diareahha meds for 5 days, the little blue pills-marazapine. It was better the first 2 days on the antibiotics he started going poop 1x per day instead of 2, but still going explosive gassy-diareahha on his foot. Not having faith in my doctor's advice, knowing my fur baby and and knowing, "If you give a doctor time, they will kill you," I decided to take matters into my own hands again and decided to try a bland diet with cooked ground turkey from the butcher with pumpkin. My cat did not go for it. Even though I am currently still trying, he's now having some of the broth in his wet food with a pinch of the ground turkey mixed in. I also decided to purchase a "LIMITED INGREDIENT" Duck hard kibble (Firstmate Dry Duck food- since it had no guar-gums amongst other preservatives im thinking may be causing the issue!) I also purchased this GUT SOOTH and have been sprinkling it in each of his meals along with 5 pieces of this hard food. 5x per day. This stuff worked instantly by the first night it was better, but the second day, half of his loose stool is gone. Currently, it's half good, half bad, which is the first time in months!!!! I am sure the dry food is also firming up his stool, but with the Gut Sooth it is helping not cause inflammation from the dry food, his gas is already less and we are both currently very happy. If I listened to the vet with keeping him on only wet food and their non effective purina probiotic, which was NOT EFFECTIVE for my cat, we would still be going through HELL Since there are many factors - the antibiotics, the dry food, and now gut sooth, I will be continuing to journal. So far, this product has been very helpful in the whole 4 days he's been on it. I am now thinking about buying the leaky gut protocal, since I believe his gut is so inflammed it can't take in anything properly. The vaccines, preservatives, changing diets, etc, I feel I have failed my poor cat, but I now have hope with Adored Beast. In 2020, I put the cat on Farmina ND wet + Dry food and was told to alternate with 1 month of gut restore & 1 month of Love Bug. I remember it was going so well for 3 months until it started all over again. Back then, I did not journal, and I may have still been giving him treats still, or stopped giving him an adored beast after 2 months. I then put him on a raw diet with a big country raw-and I was still having to encourage him to eat it with toppers on top. Later on, he would only eat the raw with freezedried chicken by pure bites on top and still having bouts of loose stool or blood/mucus . After another year of this, I took away the chicken and figured he just didn't like the food without toppers on top and noticed he would vomit or regurgitate after eating raw. I bought him raised bowls and smaller meals but was still reguratating his food at least 1 a week right after eating. I figured the raw was upsetting him. I than took away ALL TREATS and slowly put him on a dry food- Orijen & he wasnt enjoying it after a bit so I decided to mix in 1 less healthy food he enjoyed which was performatrain Chicken & potatoe. This did indeed encourage his eating. He was still periodically having loose stool/ blood, which was continuing every so often. I then added in a gastrointestinal senstive stomache wet food with royal canin 1 per day to start slow. He enjoyed it a lot, but after 2 weeks, it started again, but more frequently loose stools and blood. Now I am here today hoping this stuff will help and trying to find a good diet my cat enjoys and seeing a specialist in case. If anyone has similar issues, please share 🙂 I will try the leaky gut protocal soon. If anyone knows of a good food for picky cats with inflammation, please do share!
