I'm actually disturbed by the fact that this guy thinks having a lore specialist on set is some kind of crazy unrealistic standard when working on a Star Wars movie. Yes they absolutely should have had multiple people who are well versed in SW lore, not just on set but actively working on the script. And I'm talking actual specialists, not whichever twit looked at the hyperspace ramming scene and went like "well this doesn't seem to conflict directly with anything I can remember off the top of my head so keep it in I guess". Also, the guy is like a 6 year old who learned what a swear word was last week or something. I don't usually mind swearing but it's obnoxious when every other word out of someone's mouth is "fuck".

I am so curious to know what this guy thought of Rise of Skywalker.

people losing happiness because a S.W. movie wasn't what they wanted. Star Wars is like politics now.

Even though I’m a HUGE hater of the sequels and all the Disney Star Wars shows (except Andor), I will agree the visuals are absolutely amazing. It’s the only thing keeping the movie from being a 1/10. So because of visuals this movie is a solid 2/10. Can’t be any higher than that. Not with its terrible and completely unlikeable characters, terrible plot, terrible dialogue (yes it’s even worse than the worst of the prequels and if you disagree, you’re probably used to this garbage), and terrible pacing.

I didn’t like this movie but it’s odd that the reviewer thinks Star Wars is science fiction (it’s fantasy). Also odd that he likes Lord of the Rings, as I doubt Tolkien would want to be around some racist guy who constantly calls women characters b*tches. 🙄

I discovered Wolf today, thanks to you. Starting with some of his Star Wars rants, then going to this one. Unsurprisingly, I agree with a lot of his points. I came in late on the MCU bandwagon, a couple of weeks before Wandavision came out. I found most movies to be unimpressive apart from a few. Mostly the four Russo movies, the first Iron Man (I kinda liked the third because I like Shane Black's movies) and I really like the Spider-Man Home trilogy despite their flaws. That said, did Wolf make videos about Infinity War and Endgame before leaving UA-cam? If he did, I'd really like to hear his opinion on them. If he didn't or you don't have them backed up, it's okay. Maybe we'll get it when/if he comes back. I hear it's mental health that had him leave the platform, so I hope he gets better and can come back. I can see a lot of people are starving for his opinions. I mean come on, just discovered him this morning thanks to your mirrors and I'm already asking for more. That said, thank you for what you shared on his behalf. It's really great to the viewer and can show Wolf how appreciated he is. And I hope he knows it, whether it helps him come back or not. There were a few visually interesting parts of this movie, but overall I think it was poorly done and disappointing. I agree with alotta what this guy says about its mistakes. That being said... I seriously feel bad for the guy that made this video. It sounds like watching bad movies seers him in his soul to the very deepest parts of his being. I hope he can somehow find peace and joy in life again after watching TLJ. 🙏 I kmow rage is addicting and gets clicks. But it leads to an empty life and one full of regrets at some point. Some would even say that rage is a doorway to the dark side and has lured multiple promising Jedis down the wrong path. I hope all the best for him and that with time he can eventually recover from watching TLJ. There is still hope. On an aside.... If he truly thinks Rey is the worst or one of the worst characters.of all time, then I think he needs to watch MANY more of the movies that have been created in the last 125 years.

Like seriously! What is happening in schools that these younger generations can't follow along in a discussion, gets confused by metaphors and examples, and sound like their brains are literally smoking from trying to think? I can't stand it anymore. It's like they still talk like when they were 5, when it would be all jibberish with like 3 actual words. So you'd just nod and go, "good job buddy". And also, isn't it just so adorable how all these people will say how they love these movies. But can't remember what happened in those same movies, and when referring to the content of those films, labels them as "that shit or whatever".
