cool video for this iconic bass line mate, i just learnt it, cheers, i like to play it with one finger on one string and slap the muted strings between each one, i must study the original as i understand you simplified it, people in the comments, use your ears i you want to copy original, the old school way, ear training!

In the middle of the riff there is a double fast pluck so if you take the middle part n double it you got it

Yours is the only correct one I’ve found… that first drop d note is essential.. all the tabs have it wrong online, how hard can it be to make the e string a d.
