Gopher. Baby rattlers have a very pronounced triangular head.

Gopher Snake. I have seen gopher snakes mimic rattlers, Almost catches you off guard!

... 100% Gopher snake! Even baby rattlers have a rattle or two on their tails.. And this isn't a baby snake at all. So yeah, a gopher it is!

Rattlesnakes: IIRC have vertical pupils, and heat / IR sensing pits that from the front appear below their eyes. The rattle is another thing to look for. Don't mess with a snake you're not sure about. I recommend carrying binoculars, to facilitate identification from a distance.

It's a gopher snake. Its markings are characteristic of its species, and it lacks the wedge-shaped head that rattlers have even while young. By the way, gopher snakes will "rattle" their tails when agitated, so that can't be used as an indicator of species,.

I could get it done in 30 seconds in real time... You might not have a roof anymore and youll have to deal with cleaning up the remains of the tree but ill get er done
