As an active BASE jumper, that has jumped the Perrine a few times, I want to say that you are doing a service to our community. I hope students and mentees sit down and watch this video with their teachers and mentors! Thank you for filiming this and putting it out here for us to review.

Yeah, there's no need for a deployment bag. Without a reserve parachute in the way the main can be packed flatter and makes for a more reliable opening. BASE containers have been that way for decades. As for the slider, its purpose is to inhibit the inflation process, so when jumping off low objects the slider is removed or stowed down and the pilot chute is larger in size so the inflation process is more rapid. With the slider down or off set up a jumper limits their freefall delay time to 3 seconds unless they use a smaller pilot chute. Most likely the jumpers in the video used 42 inch pilot chutes. This bridge is 480 feet, jumping with a slider up is possible. The opening would be very soft and would take an experience jumper to manage its slow low speed opening.
Fly or die, impressive as fuck. Is this the same William that jumped with Daniel before his last jump ? Big balls to keep going on the short starts if so, hope you keep making them.
The videos are incredible! Why cut them all off short?
True Legend. RIP My Friend ❤️
The people at Barclay Lake seemed impressed!
Don’t splat yourself on my rocks.
Good camera work 😎
GREAT FOOTAGE...!!! 👍
Something would get tangled or wrapped around my wrist or ankle
Respect! 🤘
hell yeah
Cactus up the a$$ avoidance. Sick!
That was sick! Let’s not forget about the camera man on this flight. Much respect 👍🏻
Fuck yeah boys!! You’ll be forever missed will. Rest easy
I used to work at the same DZ as Will and introduced him to BASE. The guy was a rare talent...
Great place for jumping. Can you tell me where it is?
How does that feel? Planning on doing the AFF Skydive course. I want to do wingsuit too.
RIP
Im not experienced so that was probably not close to overrotating but that would mean instant death.. right?
If you mean when he first jumped I assume. It looks pretty steep but for sure the flip adds to the things that could and eventually do, go wrong.
Damn what a line!
White "space dust" ejected from 'chute... ☆
This is such a good one Will! I hope I’ll be able to jump that exit one day!
impressive, love it!
any takeaway on this? what happened?

It's been two years, I expect Darwin has caught up with him by now?
Nope he’s still jumping, nice shit comment though
No. I talked to him a couple of months ago. He is actually a very smart guy and well respected.

This looks like Utah or Nevada.
That was so cool
Holy shit, that was amazing.
So base doesn't use deployment bags or sliders?

Заебитлз!
Cool flight path and tight landing!
Landing area seemed normal to me, but that exit was pretty dicey.
Damn..no pull zone right from exit.
🙌🙌🙌
quite impressive speed build up! Not for the weak minded

that's a sketch as exit plus i love that canopy
oh my god
E
🤯
That was awesome! Are you filled with helium!?
That exit doesn't look like a cliff, it looks like a hill! Good push sir.
Incredible. I have about a dozen wingsuit flights from a/c, and this is too cool.
Damn, that exit is crazy.
No room for error on that exit. Damn.
Dude that was sick! Close flight by the ledges followed by landing on the path with a bunch of randos? How does this only have 350 views after 4 days?
Wow, the last 100 metres or so seem to fall really fast
Beautiful fall colors. Impressive exit with such a "small" WS
More.. please.
🤣🤣🤣👍
I could watch slow Mo openings all day long.
