Hear me out, what if for a fighting game, to balance out The Boys with the supes, you played as all four of the main boys at once? You’d start off as Billy, and be able to call the boys to give assistance like Frenchie sniping, MM using a gas bomb, and Hughie tazing them or something. All the boys have way shorter health bars than the supes, but when one is defeated you just move on to the next with less assist moves. So all of their health combined can be on par with a supe. And this can leave the option for a few other “team” characters like the Payback members that betrayed Soldier Boy, a weaker soldier boy with temp V Billy and Hughie, Fire cracker’s clone pal, and some of the patients at Stormfront’s supe asylum. Still won’t make that much sense in canon but it’s slightly more believable.

Just make it a homelander game thats our superman game have the reveal where its giving off a slight superman theme with a shadowy character that looks like superman then a record scratch and we hear homelander say "fucking morons" and we see him laser the camera in full view

I would love a gta/arkham/spiderman style game with a map and side quests. You start as a super new to the gig with different power/costumes options to choose at the start (super strength, super speed, laser eyes, telekinesis, animal powers) get recruited by the boys to stop corrupt supes. Missions throughout the game could be stopping criminals, while going undercover for the boys against the supes, with the player eventually getting into the seven to take them down from the inside. Follows an original story

Imagine an openworld boys' game where u start 30 years in the future where the homelander is missing and the seven become corrupt and go on a rampage, killing everyone and u play as a custom made character who takes compound v gains custom picked powers such as flight heat vision x ray etc. And u team up with adult ryan who trying to find his dad and stop the seven the game is multiplayer and |local co-op 2 players| |multiplayer online 4 players| recruiting other superheros such as supersonic and others after progressing far in the story u eventually find homelander locked up in a tube made of adamantium and after freeing him also destroys the world and ryan eventually joins him leaving u and the other supes u eventually find soldier boy and he joins u and now its a world where u and soldier boy fight against homelander ryan and noir and all the other seven members

I personally think if halfway through a story game your character takes V and graphically mutates and you get a choice of your ability and a designated name like salamander

The best thing about a potential video game about The Boys is the genre options are almost endless. I know that sounds like any superhero game, but hear me out. Sure, a fighting game like Injustice or Marvel Vs Capcom would work. So could a Telltale style game. You could also however, try something like Infamous. You’re a new hero trying to join the 7 or maybe you eventually become a member of the 7, and you go on missions solo or with other members. How the public perceives you is based on how you conduct yourself and the decisions you make during those missions. And based on how you hurt or help your reputation leads to either you being a real hero or someone like Homelander. Every hero in the show always has a PR issue they have to deal with so this could be perfect. You could try one where your a member of The Boys and it’s more LA Noire style where you have to find clues to which supe committed certain crimes and figure out ways to stop them. You could even take that and turn it into a horror game in certain stages trying to avoid someone like Black Noir or Stormfront.

It should be open world like Shadow of War where you get to decide if you want to be on the boys or one of the 7. If your the boys obviously you hunt homelander, if you get killed by him you restart. If your on the 7 and homelander sends you out to do missions, if you fail he kills you and you have to restart. You could recruit other supes. Definitely need character customization

Hear me out: an open world rpg based around new york and the boys comic (since they have alot of supes already) you play as a cia agent who is tasked by the boys to infiltrate the 7's inner circle and destroy vought from the inside. You are injected by v and choose what your power is choosen by you but over the story you develope more powers (up to 3) and you can invest in upgrading them overtime and also can change them using another drug called compound alter. Your choices matter cus you can chose to help the boys and take down vought or help the 7 and take down the boys.

See I would either love a decision based game like the top comment suggest or I would absolutely love a game where we track down and kill as many supes as possible as our own custom character (who could have powers and take v if we choose)

or.. a game where u can make ur own supe from scratch one thats able to join the 7.. but u have to deal with the things ur forced to do.. lots of missions etc.. starts up happy and inspiring but ends up gory af and dark, dealing with homelander etc
