A pretty overcast and muggy morning in Auckland as we board Air Chathams only Saab 340B model for the flight down to Whakatane. Engine Start 10mins prior to scheduled departure, plus a quick taxi out to Runway 05R. Fairly sharp right hander immediately after Takeoff, and climb to FL120 for the slightly over half an hour flight to the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
So wish Air Chathams would clean the windows on their Aircraft. Both the ATR and Saab fleets are filthy. Doesn't make a for a clear photo or video out the window.
