Golden eye is the S-tier of all S-tier. This is the perfect intro for any Bond movie ever. The slow intro pace, the death of a friend who is tied to the entire movie, the ending with Bond doing something so impossible that only James Bond could do it.

Yeah, Golden Eye is the best one. The first 15 minutes of the movie are THE best bond intro ever. For me, the moment when James catches the plane is the perfect definition of a James Bond movie: He can manage anything. Pierce Brosnan is the perfect James Bond for me as he PERFECTLY took all the best of the one before him and put them in a single Bond. He's ruthless like Dalton's Bond, He's charming and suave as Conrey and he's funny, quirky, and a sex "Addict" like Moore. He is the perfect balance for a Bond, The sad part is only that none of his movies stand to the level of Golden Eye. They are good but not the best yet they are for me the end of the "Real" James bond. The movie with Craig isn't the same... Before him, when you watched a Bond movie, it would feel different from the rest of the Action movies of its time. Like you had Arnold and Stalone and you have Bond. But with the Craig era, they feel a lot more like all the other action movie. They all started to feel like they wanted to be Jason Bourne.

Moonraker is the only thing in this world which actually make me believe in the Mandella Effect. Cause... the girl had brace, i remember laughing about it with my friend when i was a kid, the scene when they smile at each other was "Funny" cause they both had "metal" teeth... Now it's just "funny" cause she small and he's big... or both ugly... Anyone else here remember her with braces?

Yes, nostalgia and the game affect the tastes in Goldeneye, but it truly is an amazing film and the perfect Bond movie. If nore or Brosnan's films had been like GoldenEye he would easily be considered the best era in Bond. Instead we got one legendary tier film, two middling films and wtf ever Diamonds Ar-I mean Die Another Day is.

I wouldn't say OHMSS is an F tier, there's things about it, but damn if it isn't far too long and far too slow. I'd love to see an edit that makes it paced just a little faster.

I believe they purposely put scenes of Sean Connery on her majesty secret service to remind people it was still the same bond so not to alienate the audience as it was the first time the actor changed in the franchise. Although it didn't really help when his first major line was "this never happened to the other fella" 🤷

Sarumarine gets the pick as my favorite because he has the best spirits out of all the bosses, choosing to randomly fire at you despite being blinded, he’s the most threatening boss with Boss A playing, and that laugh has an echo, even when uncompressed. He’s too dangerous to be left alive!

I saw Moonraker before The Spy Who Loved Me, which probably made Jaws less intimidating to me when I saw the latter. I generally think Blofeld is more effective when his face is unseen and there's another person actually running the show (his first two appearances); when he himself becomes the main villain and you see his face it doesn't work as well. Am glad you liked the Octopussy, Living Daylights & Tomorrow Never Dies villains (especially the latter) as they can be a bit divisive. I liked Thunderball (my favorite of the Connery ones), The World is Not Enough & Skyfall more than you did, and therefore their villains more too. The film with the best group of villains is probably GoldenEye (not my favorite Bond or even Brosnan Bond, but close); am glad you put them all high up.

Good stuff. My S tiers would be You know my Name, A View to a Kill and Goldfinger. I can´t listen to Sam Smith for more than 10 seconds without feeling nauseous so F for that. Fun Fact : My girlfriend at the time was one of the girls in the Octopussy opening so that´s a bit special for me.....

A View to a Kill - still a great song and one of the few Bond songs that's still played because it's a great song rather than just Bond related.

Opinions on daniel craig CR:- litreally james bond anime opening, the song and the visuals matches together like the gloves OJ simpsons used that night. This is so 2000s vibe i badly miss. 9/10 QoS:- i know this song was made up at the last minute but its jack white from the white strips for godsake he would have created much better song if he was with his wife/fake sister meg white. The visuals are good but the song hurt my ears 1/10 Skyfall:- ah yes we are in deepshit situation song, this is still adele's best work in her entire career. 9/10 Spectre :- the visuals and the song fits like the gloves OJ simpsons used in his trial. It doesnt fit, thats because sam smith wasnt the original choice for the opening it was radiohead. And they should have stick with radiohead because sam smith bores the shit out of me while radiohead matches the tone movie was trying to have. I still dont understand why it got an oscar. 2/10 No time to die:- while billie won oscar for this because this was the famous movie song of 2021 and there was no competition, with that being said MOVE BILLIE MOVE, i can't hear hans zimmer instrumental work while you are pysically eating the mic, pls stay away from it. The visuals are still bad but damn good song thanks A-HA for your contribution even tho you people are the reason why john barry quit scoring the bond movies. 8/10 LTK:- i know many people says its a walmart version of goldfinger but i still think its actually good and majestic. 7/10 Goldeneye:- the song is okish but the visual is actually good. I get why people would still love it. 6/10 TND:- while i know many people believes that surrender should have been the main theme, i still have to say i like this song more then surrender. The song matches visuals here completely. And i like the instrumentals. 7/10 TWINE:- this is opposite of TND, i dont care about the visuals nor the song, its complete dump 3/10 DAD:- having madonna sing is a huge accomplishment at that time but having her use autotune is the biggest crime the franchise made on songs and the lyrics is also cringy. And cant help to feel sympathy for bond here. 1/10 Ranking(worst to best) dalton:- LTK, TLD Brosnan:- DAD, TWINE, goldeneye, TWINE Overall:- DAD, TWINE, goldeneye, TWINE, LTK, TLD Verdict :- dalton lacks the visuals brosnan would go to gave but daltons has the musical advantage here.

Pretty on par with your choices, except Skyfall goes in F tier. It’s a terrible terrible song. Any Bond theme you can’t listen to twice in a row without vomiting has to get a low rank. And the two on here that I probably can’t listen to are the Die Another Day theme and Skyfall🤮
