While I thought the movie was beautifully shot, the acting was excellent and the sound design was impressive I also felt like the narrative left a lot to be desired

Great production quality; great setting and great analysis. This channel could really go somewhere. One piece of constructive feedback - try varying your intonation a bit at the end of sentences - it does get slightly annoying and takes away from the other brilliant stuff you've got going on. Better stick to reading the book, it is a poor adaptation. Though Ralph Fiennes is excellent others are awfully bad, including pacing and camera. BTW never knew Philoetius (and other characters) was black or was it to insert DEI like black Anne Boleyn and Cleopatra.

You missed the whole point but that’s okay.. look at it again!

Most underrated film ever made. Time will treat it well, however. Fantastic, well- crafted films are appreciated on a longer time line if they are not initially well- received.
