It's actually taken me over a year to "settle" into what the channel is all about! This is a channel for families who are too busy and feel led to a simpler life. A quieter life. One that focuses on the things that really matter: like our relationship with the Lord, relationships with others, and exploring God's creation!

William J. Reynolds wrote one of my favorite hymns called Share His Love. In it the chorus states, "share His love by telling what the Lord has done for you, share His love by sharing of your faith, and show the world that Jesus Christ is real to you every moment, every day." Blessings dear brother in Christ. Peace be with you.

I'm convinced not enough younger believers are discipled by older believers. There's a lot that we are leaving on the table by separating people into groups by their ages! Titus 2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. 3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. 6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

One thing I would definitely add to your kit is some sort of firearm. It is much better for protection and can be used to hunt for food if necessary. I would not remove any first aid products because you didn’t use them. No one wants to use an aid kit but when you need it it’s worth its weight in gold. You never know what type of injury you might suffer or come across someone else in desperate need. It’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Just my two cents. God bless. 😬👍

Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate your music and filming Good to see others testing their bags and gear. I work in a city and I don’t see many people doing videos on hoofing it through urban/suburban settings. I’m trying to put a get home kit together for myself. But where can I get myself a n invisibility cloak because the thought of trying to get home as a lone lady is scary. 🫣 Thinking about self defense classes and investing in a collapsing scooter with motor. Anyone have suggestions for an urban kit? Thanks 😊

    1. I keep two bandanas and a shemagh at the top top of my pack. One is camo in case i want to cover my head and be less visible. One is orange and can be used as a flag. The shemagh is larger. Any and every time i pull stuff out of the pack. I lay the shemagh down as a table so i don't leave a piece of gear behind. 2. Another small bag in your trunk with a pair of broken-in shoes. In one shoe is a fresh pair of socks. In the other shoe is stuff that immediatly goes in your pockets. Knife, lighter, light, gloves, gaiter/muff, whistle... 3. If the gloves are clipped to your belt or backpack strap, you'll use them before you hurt yourself. If they're in your pack, you'll hurt yourself because they aren't convenient and you "probably won't get hurt".

You MADE A FIRE ON LEAF LITTER??!!? 🙁😕😣😖😤😡🤬🤬😳🤯😱 I get that the premise of this video was to LEARN from your MISTAKES, but anyone should know you NEVER set a fire on leaves of forest litter, you ALWAYS clear at least ten feet around your fire to prevent sparks from causing a forest fire. * A forest fire will tremendously reduce your odds of surviving

Aqesome...just started my new job qhere i travel and physically labor every week....I was underemployed for a year and a half till i got this job. I had my 4 and 5 yr old almost all day and all night qith zero help from their mom who would just ignore us even though she lived 10 blocks away. I was so worn down. I started praying sbout keepingfocused on Jesus when life got more chaotic and to hold Him up and praise hin while I work hard ( im 37 and most these kids are 25 and 28). I have been spread far too thin for far too long and it hurt my relationship with the Father. Being away taught me two things instantly...one, nothing is more i.portant than my Father in Heaven, and my two daughters , and two God is kind. He really has spoken to me while being removed from the chaos at home. Now, I'm lacing up, working hard as I can on my job and giving Him the glory. Pray for me please! Next I'm kicking an addiction I have.
