@beastxmode no visibility issues. In Texas that is the darkest they can be without getting a ticket. I do wish I got the sunroof done though. I will have to replace the windshield soon and then I will do the sunroof.

No I have not had any problems with the eyesight. It still works wonderfully. I live in Houston Texas and it has been over 100 for the past week and my car is hot but not as hot as other cars without it

How do I love my 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness? I'll spare you counting the ways. Quite simply, it is my gem. It drives perfectly, the safety features have already proved a blessing, and I am confident there's no snow or offroad conditions it can't handle. I am 75, and I expect to own it for the rest of my life

Yes, I had his hearing protection but he constantly takes it off. I try my best to protect his hearing. We were lucky that we were there early enough where it wasn’t the revving I was more concerned about the loud music but I did my best to block his ears.

@@wildandloudmama It's usually just Friday night and all day Saturday that is the problem. I love the rally and will be there this year (2023) on Thursday morning and will stay through Monday so I can enjoy all the Sunday festivities as well.

Did you stay out there late? It was crazy busy. I always enjoy seeing all the bikes.

@@wildandloudmama Thank you so much, it’s refreshing seeing another Subaru owner that isn’t a wrx/STi/brz owner be enthusiastic about Subaru. I used to wave at all Subarus I saw on the road, sadly that enthusiasm wasn’t mutual unless it was with a wrx/sti owner. Also I’m not sure if you saw it, but there was a black forester STI at the big event. Personally I like the foresters and would love to get an older one as a winter beater for whenever I travel up north.

@@datgumify I struggle with that too. I am so excited about my car and people are like it’s slow. 😂 I think the Subaru community is probably different in the north. I am from the north and Subarus are just normal out there. Well I hope to see you around and maybe at another Subaru event.

I had a Subaru Forester 2015 and loved it. I know liked the all wheel drive especially for all the rain we get. I wish I could get the one with the bigger engine but that would be the Outback and I don’t like the look. I am from the north and Subarus have always been known as a reliable vehicle. I also liked the fact that I could drive up north and the vehicle could perform. It is nice that Subaru does so much in the community with their partnerships. Do you have a Subaru?

@@wildandloudmama I have a 2014 Mazda CX-5 and it’s very reliable. May get the Subaru because it’s a bit more capable, but scared about reliability.

That is fair. This is our 3rd Subaru and have never had a major issue. We did have some recalls but back in like 2017 and subaru took care of those no problem. It’s always a tough decision when you have a reliable vehicle and you are switching brands or models! Good luck.
